Interesting, keep them imbalanced won. I've said this before. I wonder how many spellcasters, who've never played melee vote in these polls or respond to posts like "Spellcasters are more powerful than melee." LOL
i won't vote in the silly poll because none of the three options make any sense; while i'm not okay with how things are, i'm not here for damaging a different feat for no good reason, or thoughtlessly homogenizing them; i just want the GWF feat to be written with even a hair of real thought and basic arithmetic, which it does not appear to have been afforded
Not sure why you think they didn’t crunch the numbers in the first place. It’s not a huge buff, but it’s there, and on the weapons that least need a static increase to their inherent DPR. Seems like sound design, setting aside complaints that it’s not hyping up the weapon set that is already the most powerful into an even greater lead.

Because I have crunched the numbers and no it isn't, not on the weapons that would actually benefit from what it actually offers: reliability. Because if they had crunched the numbers, they wouldn't have made it completely useless for the worst great-weapon, and most useful for the best (in terms of damage rolls, ignoring the reach great-weapons which also find this feat worthless).
Not sure why you haven't crunched the numbers, or why you are arguing against something I am not arguing for. Really, you don't even need to crunch the numbers to see the problem! You just need to use your eyes and see the obvious, that a guaranteed 3 on 1d12 is not remotely as valuable as two guaranteed 3s on 2d6. The worth of this feat within its own domain is so visibly inconsistent that I have trouble believing you are being genuine.

That is an absolutely terrible way to balance weapon types against one another. Fighting style is a choice -- the choices should be balanced against each other, not be some way to cram a patch on balance issues elsewhere in the game.
I sincerely believe the DND team do not prioritize optional playstyles like heavy optimization, powergaming & minmaxing(valid though they are) when doing their jobs, & haven't for a long while.
It explains so much about why discussions like this happen.

We are all in danger!
i voted keep them, but i also do not think they are imballanced at all

There are a great many places where 5e demonstrates incompetence at number crunching, so assuming this is yet another example is pretty safe bet.
