Roll20 has had a PHB + XGE bundle for $50 for quite some time now (the player's bundle). That's $10 less than DNDB. I'm not seeing the $50 per book pricing on Roll20 that a previous poster referred to. PHB and XGE (unbundled) are the same price on Roll20. I'd love to see some competitive lower-end bundling on DNDB without need for coupon codes. That player's bundle on Roll20 is what I want on DNDB. Asking for competitive pricing seems reasonable to me.
So, just smaller bundles? I mean...they already provide high end bundles that no one else provides, so I definitely don't think they need to match every competitor on every price point level across the spectrum of entry levels, but there are and have been smaller bundles, and regular discount codes, and you never have to pay full price for something you have already purchased part of, so...the various levels of entry are pretty well covered.
Yes, smaller bundles. I think that would be more competitive. I think there are a sizable number of folks who will never imagine buying those high-end bundles, so they'll go for Roll20 for their digital content, and that leads to subscription decisions as well. As I've worked alongside marketing departments and companies, I've learned how much this stuff matters. Of course, DNDB and Roll20 could merge, then I'd be in happy land ^_^

But... Why would they merge? They are two separate companies directly competing with each other. There is no reason for one of them to seek an alliance with the other.
Interested in purchasing the Legendary Bundle, so I’m looking forward to the next codes coming out.

Began playing 1st edition back in the late 70’s and love playing and DMing 5e to this day. We have a great group of players and would love to have someone who compliments our group join us. Would be great if we could add a woman, cis or trans, but are open to anyone who loves the game, loves RP and is reliable.

A great many mergers have happened that are exactly of that nature. On the surface alone, the most popular character builder plus the most popular VTT. There are other, more business-technical reasons.

Nice! I'm hoping to get the Sourcebook Bundle with the next codes. I'm just now joining and missed all the other codes/sales. Someone mentioned that they were guessing May might be the next month for codes. May 5th is my birthday, so it would be super cool, like a b-day present for me ^_^
As Sedge and V2Blast stated above, do not bump this thread looking for codes or having off topic conversations. Comments will be deleted and warnings may be given out.

Where did you hear this? Holding off buying any books until codes if I only have to wait a few more weeks.

It's nothing but a guess. There is currently no information about new coupons and when they're coming.
I feel like this thread is very problematic. I know I am contributing to the problem just by posting a reply, but if you are subscribed to the thread so you get a notification when a new discount code is available, you're inundated with pointless replies (like mine). I feel like it would be better to just have a thread that is curated by a moderator or something that can't be replied by anyone other than the moderator, so the only notifications are when a new discount code is available.
Also the whole point of some discount codes is that you get access to them because you attended a specific event. I know this might be down to a limitation of the discount code system, but seems weird that people can use codes like PAXSOUTH19 when they didn't even attend it.

yeah, if they had codes for the source book bundle, I would buy it. Otherwise I am going to hold off. I will keep checking. Thanks for keeping it current.

Same. I already have all the physical books, so I'm content to wait until there's a good deal. But I do want the Legendary Bundle.

Please take discussion on pricing, deals, etc to a new thread.
Me too brother, me too. Just hope there as good as the previous codes

PAXSOUTH19. Does not work for source book bundle.
I tried this one on both the bundle and just an individual Players Handbook and it didn't seem to work with either.
I'm not familiar with that code, but it sounds like it is from last year. It's not a current, active code in any case.
PAXSOUTH19 is an expired code, unsurprisingly released during PAX South 2019.
Please don't post expired codes

Are there any active codes?
Nope, none as of yet. Keep looking back here every few days. There will be a post once there is one.
This is a topic I would like to follow. Thanks for the thread.
