I'm not necessarily talking about the people at the company, or the products, or the company as an anthropomorphised entity, but rather the essence that draws on all elements of it, like a sort-of encapsulated, holistic zeitgeist that is representative of itself: the feeling of the thing rather than the thing, or components thereof, itself.
For reference purposes, I like to use what I consider the most comprehensive and accurate guide to alignment I've ever managed to find, which is this one: EasyDamus.
In my opinion, D&D Beyond is Lawful Evil.
A lawful evil villain methodically takes what he wants within the limits of his code of conduct without regard for whom it hurts. He cares about tradition, loyalty, and order but not about freedom, dignity, or life. He plays by the rules but without mercy or compassion. He is comfortable in a hierarchy and would like to rule, but is willing to serve. He condemns others not according to their actions but according to race, religion, homeland, or social rank. He is loath to break laws or promises.
This reluctance comes partly from his nature and partly because he depends on order to protect himself from those who oppose him on moral grounds. Some lawful evil villains have particular taboos, such as not killing in cold blood (but having underlings do it) or not letting children come to harm (if it can be helped). They imagine that these compunctions put them above unprincipled villains.
Some lawful evil people and creatures commit themselves to evil with a zeal like that of a crusader committed to good. Beyond being willing to hurt others for their own ends, they take pleasure in spreading evil as an end unto itself. They may also see doing evil as part of a duty to an evil deity or master.
Lawful evil is sometimes called "diabolical," because devils are the epitome of lawful evil.
Lawful evil creatures consider their alignment to be the best because it combines honor with a dedicated self-interest.
Lawful evil is the most dangerous alignment because it represents methodical, intentional, and frequently successful evil.
They work within a code of conduct but without regard to deeply and personally they injure me by forcing me to pay for a subscription so that I can maintain the addiction to building characters that they caused in the first place. They care about the traditions of D&D, about loyalty to the brand, and order on the forums, but not about my freedom to call people names, or about my dignity when embarrassing myself here, which is ruining my life. They enforce the rules without mercy or compassion. They are comfortable enough within the hierarchy of the D&D brand, however they're quite blatant in their attempts to take it over by insidiously inserting themselves into every aspect of it, and will, if we let them, rule. They condemn me according to my Chaotic Neutral religion (aforementioned lack of freedom), my Aussieness (I have to pay international transaction fees, dammit!), my poverty (by not giving me everything for free).
They are diabolical, honourable but self-interested, methodical, intentional, and frequently successful. Thus they are Lawful Evil.

They work within a code of conduct to help bring happiness and spread the magical wonder that is D&D to all the people of this digital land. They care about the traditions of D&D, about loyalty to the brand, and order on the forums, and charge but a mere subscription which is used to spread further fantasy happiness throughout the kingdom and allow families to eat. They enforce the rules with extreme mercy and compassion. They are comfortable enough within the hierarchy of the D&D brand, however they're quite generous with their attempts to improve upon it by championing change for the community, and will, if we let them, provide a new way of gaming which has been lacking for decades. They condemn me according to the Site Rules & Guidelines, for my non-compliance, and my disinterest in constructive criticism.
They are saviors, honourable but humble, methodical, intentional, and frequently successful. Thus they are Lawful Good.
