We’re kicking off Dungeon Masters, our official Dungeons & Dragons actual play series. The first arc starts in Ravenloft, and we’re launching with Episodes 1 and 2.
Led by Jasmine Bhullar, this party is stepping into something they may not survive.
The table: - Jasmine Bhullar, Dungeon Master - Mayanna Berrin as Wesley, a Drow Grave Domain Cleric - Christian Navarro as Eloin Emberleaf, a Dhampir Winter Walker Ranger - Neil Newbon as Crem, a Gnome Reanimator Artificer - Devora Wilde as Zora, a Hexblood Shadow Sorcerer
After the episodes, come join us in the D&D Discord. We’ll have a discussion thread up so you can jump in and talk through everything that just happened.
If you want more on the cast and what’s coming, you can check out the full announcement here.
Don't miss it!

Before I type what I actually came here to type, I want to say this (given the comments above) : B. Dave is a national treasure, and the fact that he got derailed to a degree based on some flimsy made-up hoopla is a travesty. I desperately wish he would have been included in this actual play. He should have been.
Now, what I came here to say: between this and the Quick Builder for newer players, I'm (cautiously) getting quite hopeful for the direction of D&D Beyond. The way this actual play will reveal mechanics via pop-ups as it's played. The way new material will be revealed. The way we can get new material (or those of us that have preordered can, I guess) the next day pertinent to the episode that we can use ourselves. Even their choices for DM/players (with the above-noted exception that I would have been beyond impressed if B. Dave was involved--it would be fantastic if he was one of the "guests" they alluded to) is phenomenal.
Not to mention the fact that we have clear roadmaps we can reference for upcoming releases, third-party stuff, etc...
I think this is actually really smart marketing. A live play that showcases the settings and options that are about to be released, play along packs released so we can run the episodes at home if we wish, and a pretty great cast are all things that if handled right can really build hype for releases and offer real value for those people who are preordering

I notice Winter Walker instead of the Ravenloft one.
That feels...off.
DM, player & homebrewer(Current homebrew project is an unofficial conversion of SBURB/SGRUB from Homestuck into DND 5e)
Once made Maxwell's Silver Hammer come down upon Strahd's head to make sure he was dead.
Always study & sharpen philosophical razors. They save a lot of trouble.
I noticed the email called this "D&D's first official actual play".
Seems like they really want to pretend Force Grey, Black Dice Society, and Invitation to Party didn't happen. Even though B. Dave's been exonerated.
Sayge Ryan & her lot are good at manipulation. & in LA, it's REALLY easy to pull life ruination.
Or it's a statement based on it being the first one run on WotC's channels instead of Dropbox/Beacon
