I've been really enjoying it myself and definitely will be waiting for more. Not quite my favorite (that honor goes to Rob Hartley and the VLDL crew for Misfits and now Into the Darklands), but it's got what I want in an Actual Play: lots of intriguing intrapersonal world-building, but also a good amount of twists in the interpersonal reveals as well.
Is the amount of secrets players keep from each other like what I'd do for my own campaigns? Probably not, unless the players all wanted that kind of conflict and intrigue, but it makes for great content to watch!
I need to catch up but I’m glad they’re continuing. It’s been a great show for the episodes I’ve watched, the cast is very talented, and honestly as live plays go “it’s ten episodes of about an hour to an hour and a half” is a much easier sell to my new players than Critical Role doing five and a half hours for a thousand episodes
I didn't watch the first season, are they actually previewing stuff from the upcoming books in these? Like explaining what new features there are and what they do? Based on that trailer, it didn't really seem like it.

Based on season 1 they’re all playing characters using the subclasses from the new books and the monsters they face are all from that release. Ravenloft was light on new mechanics so there wasn’t much of that to preview but it was fun seeing the monsters in action. Part of the preorder bonus was also to unlock maps and the monsters used after each episode so you could watch the show then run it at home if you were so inclined
So pumped for this season. Do you think we’ll see any overlap between the seasons, like will that red wizard from the first episode show up, since we know the red wizards will be one of the villains? And will any guest players show up?
I'm so hyped for this. I actually don't have much interest in WoW itself, but this group has done such a fantastic job with the first two seasons, so I'm sold even if the setting doesn't interest me that much. I want to see more of the humor and drama, but regularly I want to see some of the new backgrounds and classes. Hopefully they also show off the new professions they talked about on the stream, with more things to do in downtime.
can hardly wait until Thursday when I get to see the first episode

Glad to see the positive feedback. I have not watched the first 2 seasons but am really looking forward to the one starting this week. My SO has a lot of nostalgia for her WoW characters and this should be a great springboard to starting a new campaign for us.

The interesting thing is that from what I'm used to, 1-1.5 hours seemed on the long side! Looking forward to seeing more, though.
