When a character is claimed by a player (say the DM creates them using their books and puts them to be claimed on the campaign page) do abilities/feats/etc. that the player may not own the book for stay on the character sheet?
I know that there is content sharing, but until Curse allows us to share what we want (or even just restrict Adventures from being shared), I would rather not use it.
So does assigning characters work if content sharing is off?
Longer answer - the player will find that they can't do things that relies on content that they don't have access to (like level up the character) and would need to unclaim it, let you claim it, make the changes for them, then transfer it back to them.
Everything will remain even if content sharing is off, but if you edit the character you will be unable to add anything from those same sources if you do not have them and if you remove a feat or such you would be unable to add it back. However, everything the DM added to the character will remain for the character even if you take it.

Alright, thanks. I was hoping that would be the case.
Until Curse offers some control over content sharing, I will just have to reclaim the characters when they level then.
