Halaster is at it again! Because of a hex he cast upon the printing presses in our world, Waterdeep: Dungeon of the Mad Mage, Waterdeep: Dungeon of the Mad Mage Maps & Miscellany & Waterdeep: Dragon Heist Dice Set will be in game stores on Nov. 9 & everywhere else on November 20.
Here's a picture of the tweet itself.
Hopefully this doesn't affect D&D Beyond's release :(

The D&D Beyond release date will coincide with the new "early" release date on 11/9. The marketplace copy will be updated shortly.
Will Maps & Miscellany content be included in DDB or is that just in print?

I would also like confirmation on this. I'm not familiar enough with that product to know for sure if what it contains is unique to it or if it's just a collection of what's already available in the base product.
Given the issues they've had with printing I'm not surprised. They're probably wanting to avoid having to not only disappoint and anger customers, again, but also having to replace books.
I had the MToF collector's edition on pre-order and they came to my FLGS messed up so the store asked if everyone if they wanted the copy now, or wanted to wait for a replacement. I chose to wait. That was over five months ago and WotC still hasn't delivered the replacements. It'd be nice if they could avoid that kind of screw up, again.

Same here since my battlemaps are all projected on a digital screen. Am hoping there will be digital versions included in DDB.

I do the same and sometime in the next few months I'll be getting a TV to take apart and build into a custom designed table for using gridded maps. I'm hoping that the maps might be done by Schley or Blando, in which case they'd go up on their respective websites for sale as very high resolution and DPI digital images.

For those wondering: all the stuff in Maps & Miscellany is also in the physical book. It's really just a pile of maps (there are a lot of maps in this book) and a small number of handouts.
The versions in Maps & Miscellany are on thick, kind of laminated single sheets (double sided though), almost imperceptibly larger (since they don't have the page numbers of the physical book), and printed with slightly different colors: the book has black ink on the slightly brown background (with some decoration around the outside) typical of D&D hardcovers, while the map pack is a slightly purplish tint on bright white backgrounds.
The couple of handouts are presented in a "card deck" format, and the Maps & Miscellany ones are perforated. So that and the thick stock is kind of nice.
There is definitely no need for it, as it offers no unique content. It's just a "nice to have" if you're a spare-no-expense kind of person, and/or a collector, and/or you really like having a map in front of you on a separate sheet but didn't feel like photocopying (or in the case of D&D Beyond, printing) them.

It still has Nov 2nd listed. I know of a few games that will be played on Nov 3 for ExtraLife in multiple states.
Hopefully the digital release remains Nov 2. Do it for the kids DDB!

Has anyone gotten confirmation re: the inclusion of the Maps & Miscellany content?
Seconded, I haven't see any official word...
@BadEyeAdam any news?

Every level of Waterdeep: Dungeon of the Mad Mage on D&D Beyond includes a full, high quality DM map and separate player version.
The images are around 2500 x 3500 on average from what I have seen.
Hope that helps?

So you guys don't know if there's additional content in Dungeon of the Mad Mage: Maps & Miscellany that isn't included in the campaign book, either? Gotcha.
