Me and my Girlfriend went to the local board game cafe and played 13 hours worth of games, from opening to closing. We were invited to stream a couple of games live too, which was fun. I won a tournament playing Geek Out and was awarded the Tabletop Trophy of Awesome and the game Vast. Overall, best day this year!

If you love a character, you give them pain, ruin their lives, make them suffer. Maybe even throw in a heroic death.
I didn't get in on any D&D, unfortunately. I did, however, make it over to one of my local game stores to play some other tabletop games. First, my friend taught me how to play Race for the Galaxy, a deck-building collectible-trading card game. I won because he was going kind of easy on me during the early game and only got serious by the time it was too late. Still, I'd like to play again with no handicap. After that, we walked over to the nearby Grocery Outlet to acquire some soda (Crush Grape in glass bottles) and continued on to a local pizza place before returning to the game store with our quarry. Shortly afterward, my friend's girlfriend joined us and we played a couple rounds of EDH. All in all a pretty good day despite the lack of Dungeons & Dragons. Next year I'll have to have a one-shot adventure ready. I was caught a bit unawares this year.
I played several different board games with my family.

To everyone working on DDB - you folks are AWESOME! Thank you for letting us all into your beta! To the community - thank you for being the friendliest I've ever experienced in a forum!
I am trying to learn the FATE system..so I can try it out this summer when we have family game night. Just looking for more things I can float out there as options. Still not sure what I think about it yet.
Game night was a way in the summer to schedule at least one night a week where everyone had to sit down and put away the cellphones. I am planning some things for next years Table Top Day though. I plan on taking the day off so I can go participate in some events at one of the local game stores.

Go to work and dream about playing tabletop games.

Sadly April/May are the months my D&D group has a billion things on, so tabletop day was actually a weekend off from gaming. :sadpanda:

Wary the wizard who focuses on homebrew, for he can create nightmares that you wouldn't even dream of
