A PHB Beastmaster ranger multiclassed with a Shadow Sorcerer. Pick up a summoning spell that lets you command the summoned creature as a bonus action (lets say Summon Beast from Tashas as an example).
If you have at least 6 levels in Sorc, you get your Hound of Ill Omen, which acts independently on its own initiative.
It takes a turn or two to set up, but once youve got it going you have three "beasts" working for you: 1 controlled with your action, 1 controlled with your bonus action, and 1 acting independently under your direction.
Boom. Youre a pokemon master
(Could also get even more animals to work for you by casting Conjure Animals, which also act on their own initiative but would likely have to give up the summoned beast to do so).

A changeling wizard that is addicted to being an animal. Even in combat they change into an animal to fight. If they need to fight close range, then they transform into a monke and use their club screeching like a banshee the entire time scaring the crud out of anybody nearby. Most often they let the other members do the melee fighting and transform into a rat. Clutching their arcane focus in their mouth and dragging it around where they are fighting. The changeling is free to cast spells and concentrate without any monsters casting them a second glance.
Get a net. Use it. It's bad, but when it pays off its still moderately bad. Doesn't matter, celebrate wildly each time you land the net on something.
Character wise consider a bounty hunter type, nets/bolas to capture targets, a club to beat the target into submission with. Take the sharpshooter feat or crossbow expert feat depending on whether you want to get up close or just moderately up close with your target.
Play a variant human with healer at first level, pop off as a fourth llevel rogue (thief) healing the party with healers kits during combat and locking down enemies with the net.
All together, a character that your party likely hasn't seen blunder around the battlefield before.
A weirdly intelligent kobold who got thrown out of his tribe for being too smart. He’s a monk and secretly loves hitting things with a big stick or staff
Not sure what the best class/subclass would be for this, but a horse jockey / get-away driver.
Possible features
1) Vehicle Proficiencies (mounts, boats, etc)
2) Ability to cast spells which could buff mounts and/or vehicles
3) Preferably access to spells like Phantom Steed or Find Steed
4) Mounted Combatant feature
I havent deep-dove into the spell list yet, but I am tempted to say a Ranger would be the way to go (maybe the new Drakewarden for the eventual dragon mount). Sorcerer could be nice if you wanted buff spells and the ability to twin them in the event you are driving a cart with more than one horse.

An Abjuration Wizard who is a bit of a neat-freak; which is why they specialized in abjuration magic to maintain their Arcane Ward…to keep threats…and germs!.. away.
They will constantly cast “Prestidigitation” in order to clean their space, and wear immaculately-kept white robes, and grow wrathful if someone gets them dirty.
A redemption paladin that really leans into mechanics of taking damage / blocking hits for their allies; however, its not something they are actively trying to do. Rather, its protection is flavored as them stumbling and fumbling into the way of attacks (or some other strange chain of events) resulting in them taking some of the damage by complete accident. A sort of Scott Sterling character.

Thanks to Fnaf Security Breach, I want to create a young Halfling Battlesmith Artificer with his Bear Automaton Iron Defender that gained a strange quirk of acting like a father figure with a desire to protect the boy and give him encouragement while on their travels.

I'm waiting to play my pit fighter/ professional wrestler. I think its pretty substandard until about level 10 and the RP will be gimmicky pro wrestler stuff, so I think its really only a one shot type character.
Barb 2/ Battle master 8 Unarmed strikes, grappling, trip, pushing, menacing, disarming maneuvers. Lots of the fun will be describing his combat, suplexes, pile drivers, jumping off the top rope, etc. He'll be very tattooed up with the Eldritch Claw Tattoo and maybe some spell wrought tats.
A TWF Champion Fighter that picks up the Slasher and Piercer Feats. Later on pick up the Unarmed Fighting fighting style and the Crusher feat.
Its nothing too powerful, but what makes it fun in my opinion is that it can use "weapons" with all three damage types for all three weapon feats without having to switch which weapons they are holding. Plus, as a Champion fighter you have a higher chance of crit-ing and being able to make use of the other effects of each feat consistently.
Another way to make this type of character would be a Kensei monk, but monks dont get as many feats as fighters AND are more MAD to begin with, so it would be more difficult to make it work while also improving your ASIs
