Is there any way for a fighter to take multiple Archetypes? It seem logical to be able to study under a master or some school as part of a story line. Maybe take as a feat? I see an Dwarven Eldritch Rune Knight.

Not normally. By the rules you are limited to choosing one subclass per class and you cannot select the same class more than once. There is no real way to easily do this on here. You will need to talk to your DM and maybe create a custom subclass that gives you the features of two.

Which features of of each archetype is you you like?
You maybe able to multi class to get them or something similar enough, off the top of my head you can take "Oath of Heroism" to get the early "Champion" boost to Athletics etc.
Also if it's the "Battle Master's" manoeuvres then there is the lite version in the feats.
Or for a similar feel to your battlemaster/rune fighter idea, you could be a fighter with a background in crafting/inventing, and spend your downtime and gold making enchanted weapons and armor. It might be expensive, but it's worth remembering that in D&D, the crafting system is "hey DM, can I make this?" And the DM says "yeah it would take X resources and X time."

RAW you can only take 1 subclass per class and you can't multiclass into a class you already have levels in.
