I've seen the mentions plans for a mobile app for DDB in the works in some threads, but hadn't seen if there's any plans for a desktop app. Not gonna lie we don't get great wifi reception in the basement of our DM's house, and I'd rather have the screen space on my laptop then scrolling through my sheet on my cell phone. Plans to bring that offline love to desktops as well?
I'm also itching to see the mobile app. It's the main reason I have been buying books. The site is fine, but offline access on my cell phone is what I really want.

I use summon instrument to summon my kettle drum, hold it overhead like Donkey Kong, and chuck it at the nearest kobold.

I agree with VladDracul2, if you're using your PC then you can just use the browser version of D&D Beyond without the need for a specific App.
However, I'd like to share this info with you, 'cause we know we all have our kinks (maybe you just like the layout of the App version better or are more familiar with it) and that's okay. :)
You can use this very system to install any other D&D Apps you usually use, such as dice rolling apps or sound effect apps.

Not without a web connection you can't. I play D&D twice a week, in both cases the only option for internet access is a hotspot using my mobile data (an expensivbe solution).
I play at work, where there's no internet connection that we're allowed to use to play (the sites are blocked), and so an offline version would be invaluable. I bought the $360+ package and can't use it to actually play.
Can anyone search the Web Browser on your pc like you can with the App? Because really, I play at home DM on roll20 and play, I would love to be able to ctrl+f in the web browser on my PC and find stuff, like I can on the app.
It sounds like what you really want is for the option in the website to cache content to be accessible offline, in the vein of a Progressive Web App. That's a really nice idea, and I definitely support it!

seconded!
How do you get a one-armed goblin out of a tree?
Wave!
Well, seeing how you can already use D&D Beyond with your internet browser in your PC, we should be asking for an Offline Desktop App instead.

I agree with all of you!

I'm years late, but to combat the problem you could download the webpage. Then I'm pretty sure you'd be able to access it online
