Crusader’s Blessing When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you gain the ability to inspire your allies in battle. As a Bonus Action, choose a number of creatures equal to your proficiency bonus. You and the creatures you selected gain the benefit of the Bless spell for one minute or until you use this feature again.
You can use this ability a number of times equal to your Proficiency bonus. You regain all expended uses of this feature upon completing a long rest.
Crusader’s Wrath At 3rd level, you gain the ability to channel your righteous fury into your attacks to deal extra damage. Once on each of your turns, immediately after you deal damage to a target within 5 feet of you with a weapon attack, you can add 1d8 + your Charisma modifier to the damage you dealt with that attack. The damage dealt is of the same type as the weapon used for the attack.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Proficiency bonus. You regain all expended uses of this feature after a long rest.
Virtuous HeartStarting at 7th level, you have learned how to read and understand people. You have advantage on Insight and Persuasion checks.
Crusader’s Conviction At 10th level, your conviction gives you unwavering focus. You have advantage on saving throws against the effects of Enchantment and Illusion spells and you are immune the Frightened condition.
Improved Crusader’s Wrath Starting at 15th level, when using the Crusader’s Wrath feature, you add 2d8 + Charisma modifier to the damage dealt by the attack instead.
Crusader’s Valor At 18th level, you can inspire courage in others and bolster their strength in the face of danger. As an action you can give all allies within 30 feet a number of temporary Hit Points equal to 5 times your Charisma Modifier and Immunity to the Frightened condition for the next hour.
Once you use this feature, you can not use it again until you complete a long rest.
I personally think any class features should not have their use based off of proficiency bonus because it is potentially very abusable through multiclassing. I would say Ability modifiers or Class Levels, not Proficiency. IMHO, Proficiency Bonus is better saved for Racial Features or Feats.
yea.... i would abuse this, a third level improved divine smite that is consistent, can stack with other divine smites.... my dm would hate me even more. Think about this u have divine smite, max of 6d8, then you add this and u have 8d8 which i can multiclass into being insane.

How about if I drop the extra damage for Charisma and remove the limit number of uses? Then it would deal the same damage as Colossus Slayer.
Your proficiency bonus worth of casts of the Bless spell per day as a bonus action without concentration is pretty damn potent. Without reading any of the other features I'd say that is too strong IMO. I would change uses to a flat number that scales at various fighter levels, and make it require concentration or at the very least make it an action to use.
Others have mentioned the multiclassing shenanigans you can get into when you key all the aspects of the feature off of Prof. bonus so I won't touch on that anymore than I already did.

If I change it to an action and tie it to Charisma would that be better?
For those that don't like using the Proficiency modifier, what is the key factor? What I see is a set number that increases to a max of 6 at 17th level vs a semi random starting number that maxes out at 5 at any point between 1st and 20th level depending the method used to generate stats. What am I missing?

The biggest problem is that it doesn't require you to stay in the fighter class. Proficiency bonus goes up based on character level not class level, therefore a Fighter 3 / Sorcerer 17 will have 6 uses per long rest of Crusader’s Blessing on up to 6 creatures of their choosing (plus themselves) without needing to invest any more into the class granting the feature.
I would recommend increasing the uses of features based on the level of the class itself similar to Monk's Martial Arts die, or Fighter's Extra Attack features. If you state in the feature that it has 2 uses to start, and that at certain levels you gain additional uses it would be less exploitable.

This.
And to compare Proficiency Bonus vs Ability modifier, at least with that it requires an investment (ASIs) to improve that number. I would also avoid using Charisma since, as per the above example it would probably be more abusable than Proficiency Bonus since Cha is so MC popular already.
I only chose Charisma because it was the only stat the made sense. The subclass is meant to inspires other around them to do better. I know that Charisma and Dexterity are the super stats of this edition, but in this case it makes sense to me. Luckily it is just for my home group so I don't have to worry too much about Multi-class issues.
The name Crusader suggests a religious so what about getting Religion at some point.
Also if I'm inferring correctly this is supposed to be a Paladin like subclass so how about an option similar to the "Order of the Profaned Soul" to lines up with the Paladin Oaths.

Not so much religious, but yes I was going for a paladin like fighter subclass for a player in my group.
It feels more like a skald than a paladin honestly which is a forgotten archetype in 5e. I like the bless ability but I would push it as higher level feature its too powerful for 3rd. 7th level might work remove the limit on uses and tie instead to accomplishing something. For example, scoring a critical hit or dropping a hostile creature to 0 hp could work I feel like a daring deed sorta trigger could really be some fun RP. I feel like crusader's wrath is a missed opportunity perhaps instead fuel it with maneuver dice and have a selection of abilities that are focused on building party morale/humilating/demoralize your opponents.

The player in question doesn't want spells or maneuvers. Just a basic smite like ability and some buff abilities to help the party.
