Well...it just seems a bit bland- useful- obviously. I could appreciate this as someone who works in construction- you could literally materialize whatever tool you needdd at the moment, but there is something that’s just not appealing about knowing that what you create is just going to disappear.

Oh! I cannot believe that after reading that spell about a hundred times before, l did not see that the things disappear after a time! I had thought it was a bit OP from the beginning.

yeah, unfortunately, otherwise I would be more prone to choosing this option. :D Although.... you could conjure an adamantine weapon or shield in combat and so on and it will last fora minute. A sword would fit in a 5 foot cube, so you could conjure an adamantine weapon and use it in battle for a solid ten rounds. :D
I might change my personal answer to wish though for the fact that Wish can officially imitate the effect of any spell of 8th level or lower- you don't have to get crazy with it- you now can cast the vast majority of spells in the book below 8th level. Alter self, all the others, many options.

Wish is not allowed in this thought exercise, as per the initial post.

Though the initial material component purchase might be hard to come up with (depending on how gp convert to dollars), I would go with Clone.
Think about it: functional immortality. Even, in fact, functional eternal youth. Want to always be in your twenties? No problem, the day of your 30th birthday, just .... commit suicide, and wake up in your own 20-year-old body again. And that's something I could SELL to other people, once I could demonstrate the capability to them .... thus financing not only my own clones, but also, a very very very nice lifestyle.
Well, that's a rotten change. Teleport's too risky if you're trying to go someplace you've never been. I'd just as soon Gate to an in-between destination and wait for Gate to recharge, then Gate again than risk a Teleport mishap.
But anywhere you have a strong memory of would be safe. Minimum you would save on needing return flights. You could walk to the store and then port home with the groceries rather than having to carry them. And long distance relationships would quickly become a lot easier as soon as you get the other destination clear enough in your head. Plus the making of teleport circles doesn't involve any spell casting, I think?
No, just having a good memory isn't good enough for Teleport. Neither is line-of-sight. Either of those would still leave you with a 24% chance of not getting to your destination on the first try. To be certain it works (and presuming you can't cast Teleportation Circle as well to make an anchor point,) you need to have an "associated object" from that place:
As long as you have an associated object from where you're going (say, a little chunk of rubble from the pyramids, or a sliver of wood from Big Ben,) and the piece was taken from there no longer than 6 months ago, you can teleport there with 100% certainty. Anything less than that, even line-of-sight, incurs risk. And ANYONE can send you the associated object, you don't have to have gotten it yourself. Just.... make sure it's someone you trust.
Though the initial material component purchase might be hard to come up with (depending on how gp convert to dollars), I would go with Clone.

That would definitely be Time Stop. Now, I know many dirty things have been said on the Internet about time-stopping real life, but I'd be using it for a more down to earth reason... To be able to finish the simulation of the creation of a luxury holiday park based around several of these villas in Athens https://tranio.com/greece/attica/athens/detached/ for a client, while still being able to enjoy the evening with my family AND to chat with friends as well!
... although, now that I think of time stop and villas, I wouldn't be against teleporting myself there and working from one of these before being back home for dinner either.

Time Stop only lasts 30 seconds at maximum and usually less.

Ah, that's right, I had forgotten that detail. In that case I stand by my former options or Alter Self. :D

You have to cast Teleportation Circle once a day, for an entire year, to make it permanent.
