There's the Sourcebook, Adventure and Legendary Bundles on the marketplace but how come there aren't any like that for the individual content like the compendiums or the character builder options? I"m mainly asking as someone who wants the builder options and not the rest of the books. And yes I can just buy the individual bundles from each book or just the specific things I need for my campaign, but that doesn't change the fact that you can buy all the books in a bundle and get a discount https://trackeasy.fun/usps/https://showbox.tools/.
There are plenty of people who just want the character builder stuff so why isn't there a Race Bundle or Spell Bundle? Or at least a Builder Bundle and a Compendium Bundle if you want to simplify things. That way people who only want the compendiums or builder options get a deal. Maybe a monster compendium also? since monsters aren't part of character creation.
By the time you piecemeal purchase all of the things in any given book that would qualify as 'builder content', it's become just as expensive if not more so than buying the book outright. The a'la carte piecemeal options are for when you need only one or two things out of a book. Almost all builder options are in the Sourcebook Bundle; the only thing that tends to come in adventure books are specific backgrounds or magic items.
If you want to unlock options in the builder without being able to read the books, I'd have to ask why? Adventure modules, that's great to do, but sourcebooks generally have no such restrictions unless the DM is a jerk.
I assume it's because it might get wonky financially if the discounted bundles don't contain entire books. Owning piecemeal parts counts towards what you'd pay for the entire book some or all of these parts are in, so getting those parts at a discount would let you buy individual books at a lower price than you'd normally pay without buying a book bundle. Those book bundles are supposed to be the only way to get discounts on books.

My assumption was that spells, magic items, or anything else that could be added to a character sheet all counted as "character creation options". For some specific books, it's easy to piecemeal those. For most sourcebooks, it would not be.
I think this is a great idea, but one that is unlikely to be implemented. Adam Bradford aka “Badeye,” the public face for DDB, has said that very few people have made a la carte purchases, so it’s not worth it for them to spend much time expanding into these kinds of bundles. I also know that they experienced technical difficulties with the “class bundles” (e.g. all the wizard subclasses in the PHB) they had intended to offer at launch, and finally abandoned the idea.
