I'm in Gilbert (don't know what side of the valley you're on, or if you're in Phoenix proper), and would be interested in joining a campaign as a player. I've been running too many campaigns recently and haven't really had a chance to scratch the PC itch. I have one game I'm running right now, but it doesn't have any open player slots (sorry!).
Hey there gents! I live near glendale and am looking for a campaign to play in. I am currently running one myself, and would like to play a bit while DMing. However, if we can't find anyone to DM I would be more than happy to take you on an adventure.
With that said have you all heard of Imperial Outpost? I might be a drive for my friend in Gilbert, but i am sure the adventure will be worth your drive!
I am interested in DMing a game. I live in Tempe. I would have to run the game her in my home, as I have some physical limitations. I have been DMing and/or playing since 1975 . I have played or run most genres of RPGs through the years. If you are interested I would need to run on Monday or Tuesday evenings. Let me know if you are interested.
I'm out in Paradise Valley and just getting back into D&D after 20 or so years away. I used to GM and play a lot of Palladium stuff and a little D&D in my late teens/early 20's, and I'm trying to get my family into roleplaying games instead of the boring board and card games they want to play (No, honey, I will not play Phase 10 with you!). I was running a Rifts campaign on Roll20 last year, but it was too time-consuming so I had to shut it down. Now I'm all pumped about 5e, so I'm leaving my stacks and stacks of Rifts books alone for a while to get back to my first love, the incomparable D&D.
So, I guess I'm just looking to meet people in the area and hopefully form a group of players with good chemistry. Hopefully with at least a couple of folks who can DM (including myself, or course), so that no one gets burnt out.
At present, I'm trying to figure out how much time I can devote to preparing and gaming, but I'm thinking once a week at my place if my family is going to play, or maybe twice a month if I'm going to a second location (they say never to go to a second location, but I have a good feeling about you, pal, addressing no one in particular). I'm also open to doing something over Roll20.
I live in Phoenix, pretty close to Glendale. Looking for a new group to play in. I used to play LFR at Imperial Outpost back in 4E days, with the Shield Gaming group, if anyone knows who they are.
Hey buddies, awesome to hear you trying to get back into D&D. I totally understand the phase 10 thing. Anyway, a group of us are meeting up on Sunday afternoon at 2pm at imperial outpost on thunderbird and 49th Ave. We would be happy to have you join us!
I was just reading an article on the best places for nerds to congregate in the area and Imperial Outpost was on the list. Not sure I can make it this Sunday, but would love to meet up soon.
I will be there on Sunday. In other news. I still have 2 to 4 openings available in my Tempe group. Once filled I will entertain a waiting list but the group will be closed so it does not get too large. I have run very large groups (once I had 40 players), but it is not my favorite thing to do. So our group will max out at 6 players and myself as DM. I am hoping that our group includes others that can DM too, so that on occasion I can take a break and play. In any case I am excited to get our campaign started.
Looks like the Tempe game isn't working out for me, so I may try to make the Outpost, except Sundays don't work for me either (as that is when the campaign I'm running is) :(
If y'all ever figure out a regular meet time and that isn't Sunday, I'd be interested in coming over to check it out. It's a bit of a drive, but I should be able to make it.
I could do most Saturdays. Mom's memorial is this Sat in CA, and I know I've got a couple of weekends the next month that are taken... but generally, I just sit around on Saturdays. Would love to start meeting up with whoever is up for a Sat session.
Anyone playing or running out here in the desert?

I hope you all get together again soon. I'm busy this particular Sunday, but am very interested in meeting up.

Hey, what day/time is your Tempe game?
I might be interested in a game down in Tempe. Can you PM me some more details?
Monday evenings from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. We currently have a Wood Elf Cleric/Ranger, a Wood Elf Rogue, and a High Elf Fighter/Mage.
Hey gents I won't be able to make it today sorry!

I'm still trying to make it, but probably won't. Hopefully I'll meet up with you guys soon if not today.

Can we find a Saturday to meet up? Is this possible for everyone?

I'm down for driving over on Saturday, just need to know what time I should be there. I'd prefer early afternoon (like 1-2 pm) if possible.

Yeah this weekend won't work for me, but Saturdays are good for me.
