YARRRR! Sorry, I had to hit you with the hard YARRR out the gates but, Hello! My name is Reyes, and I’m looking for players for a weekly pirate-themed D&D campaign.

This campaign draws inspiration from several games, books, shows, and other media, including:
However, this is not “One Piece: The TTRPG” or “Pirates of the Caribbean: The TTRPG.”
This is an original homebrew setting with its own Lore, Factions, History, homebrew Races, and Characters. There will be some characters/Npcs that are based off characters you would know so please keep that in mind.
The campaign takes place in a world made almost entirely of ocean. An enormous mountain range known as Mariana’s Peaks divides the world into two regions, The Old World and The New World, which is far more dangerous and mysterious

There is no single world government Instead, the Navy is controlled by the combined power of three major kingdoms, alongside smaller independent kingdoms and territories scattered throughout the seas.
The party’s decisions will have meaningful consequences. Throughout the campaign, you may choose to align yourselves with different factions. These choices can affect:

Technology becomes stranger and more advanced once the party reaches the other side of the world.
Travel is a major part of the campaign. You won’t only be sailing across the ocean.

You are not required to use the homebrew races or feats but it is encouraged that you try them out if you’d like.
We will be using third-party/partnered content classes available on dnd beyond such as:
(Don’t worry content sharing will be turned on so you can play these classes if you don’t own them)
There will be a limit to multiclassing as you can only have 2 chosen classes.
We will also be using point buy for stats along with using fixed HP.
This campaign will be a mix of combat and roleplay with roleplay especially being required and will be more focused on.
We will be using DnD beyond for character sheets and VTT while we use discord for keeping notes and voice call (voice is required)

There are no exceptions to this rule. I’m operating on an honor system, but anyone discovered to be under 18 will be removed from the campaign.
This campaign is not intended to be nonstop edgy content. However, the setting includes darker themes that I am not comfortable exploring with minors.
Themes that may appear include:
These subjects will be treated seriously as parts of the setting rather than used solely for shock value.
The following content is not allowed at my table:
Sexual content may exist in the world, but all sex scenes will fade to black immediately. I am not comfortable roleplaying explicit sexual scenes with strangers, so this is a firm boundary.
One last thing I wanna mention is that me as your DM is a pothead and I usually take edibles during my sessions usually around 10-20mg to help loosen up and role-play more smoothly but I take em in moderation and I know my limit before I can’t dm so I’ll be fully cognitively there but not too far gone to where I’m unable to DM. If this doesn’t bother you then you’re free to continue.
