Thank you very much. I appreciate your thoughtfulness in making this available. I’m a DM and was very interested to see how the subscription content access worked. This was very helpful. I find myself torn: I play exclusively on-line (my weekly play group members have moved all around the country.). We currently utilize Fantasy Grounds as virtual table top. Fantasy Grounds licenses and sells this content for use within the game and I really like that. However, it isn’t currently iOS or tablet compatible, so I really like being able to access the D&D Beyond content from my iPad... so I’ll have to decide whether it is worth the substantial investment to purchase it all twice. Thanks again for making this available!

I totally understand that. I'm a newer player so don't have that heavy investment in the content on physical or other platforms. My younger sister actually has become a fairly accomplished DM in her circles and that is what got me more into the game. She definitely wasn't ready to buy into DnD Beyond due to heavy investment already in the content. That is basically what got me to decide on buying all in.
She actually managed not to touch the service because of all that until last week. However, she needed to do last minute prep .....I have a digital library of all the books that she has physical of and while it's extremely useful it wasn't really an option for her in this instance since she was at work. Long story short once she got in and started using it she fell in love... at least on the content access side of things. Don't think she is sold yet on trying to get all her players to build out their character sheets in the service, but as far as research/prep work she loves it. Here's some quotes right out of her mouth:
"I'm so happy right now."
"Helps so much when I'm at work. The books are too big for a preview on Google drive so they require me to download to the comp I'm using...meaning I can't use it at work"
"Might just use this to actually run the game on my tablet it's so nicely linked out"
"Can click on exact part of book I need"
"I'm definitely sold at least for this dm account. Especially since you shared and we only had to pay once lmao. Gonna have to play around and make a campaign. You said they added homebrew races and classes right? My players are a crazy things."
"OH MY GOD when you are reading the book and it mentions an enemy or creature name you can hover your mouse over it and it GIVES YOU THE MONSTER STATS RIGHT THERE. THIS JUST CUT MY WORK IN HALF. YOU DON'T KNOW HOW AWESOME THIS ISSSS"
Campaign is now closed. DM's can PM me for a short private campaign test if you would like to check out DnD Beyond with full content unlock to help you decide on whether the service is a tool that will aid in your games.
