Why not give subscribers something useful like access to a la carte items, instead of taking them away completely?
money grab. they think that people will pay full price for content they only want part of.

Any time an unfathomably powerful entity sweeps in and offers godlike rewards in return for just a few teensy favors, it’s a scam. Unless it’s me. I’d never lie to you, reader dearest.
Interesting that the thread title says “December perks” when it most definitely isn’t December. I know the OP is a few years old, but it’s worth mentioning because something like that should prove to be an easy fix
Is there a way to remove the ones we don't like? Or do I just need to cancel my subscription right before one that I don't want?
I don't think there's any way to remove them, but unless you really really don't want them on your list for any reason, you can just ignore them, they don't really cost you anything extra to have them there.

Some of them are so ugly, it hurts to look at them.

I started playing D&D from the basic box set in 1979.

While I agree most of them are useless and/or unappealing to me, I simply just don't spend any time looking at them. :) But if it bothers you that much, maybe create a support ticket to have specific ones removed from your account.

No perks this month yet. Maybe they're giving us a la carte! lol.

DId you know? The DDB marketplace has REMOVED the option for purchasing one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters "a la carte". Now you ALWAYS have to buy the ENTIRE book instead.

They should update their listings if they changed it from "First Tuesday of each month"
I think the verbose version is "we start rolling it out on the first Tuesday, but somehow it takes days to finish it and sometimes it doesn't find everyone and let us know if you don't have it after a week".

So - What is it? Anyone know? My email about it didn't say...
Umm yea, so I am rarely impressed with "perks" to the point I wish they would go away. Character sheet portrait frames? Seriously? Backgrounds? Who cares. A perk would be something useful, maybe a one shot adventure, a new feat, early access to the stuff we buy.

Did you read it properly? Mine did say it’s frames…. :)

Hi There,
I have checked my account entitlements and the may perks have not shown up and I suspect that the april ones never showed up either
I am a current active Master tier Subscriber so I am not sure what is going on here, I haven't had a problem in the past.
any help is appreciated
Cheers
Oscar Scheffer
My entitlements are synced but I also don't have access to the new May subscriber perks.
P.S. For those wondering if they got the April perks, it was the 'The Kintsugi Dice Pack'. Check under your dice to see if you got them
I also can't see the May subscriber perks. I haven't had a problem before this month. I'm a current active Master tier Subscriber as well.
Okay, so my entitlements data wasn't in sync - I fixed it and can now see them.
Worth a shot if you're having the same issue:

omg ya'll this is comment #666 🤘
My account is sorted out now, not sure who or what fixed it but many thanks to who ever it was.
Cheers

That is a great idea. Thank you. Now to google how to create a support ticket in D&D Beyond. :)

And they only need one person who will to outweigh 5-15 people who won't for it to be worth it

Maybe it's a fiscal month deal, like it doesn't start until the first sunday of the month
