Wizards of the Coast recently released Subclasses Revisited in Unearthed Arcana, which created new versions of three UA subclasses as well as ending updates on others. As always we want to keep our community as up to date about changes to content, especially playtest content like UA!
Three UA subclasses are going to be Archived (Revived, Noble Genie, and Onomancy) and will have "archived" added to their subclass name. Any characters currently using those subclasses will remain usable, and can continue to level them up and play with them as created. However once the new UA is released they will no longer be available for new characters, or if you remove the subclass from your existing character it cannot be added back again. You are more than welcome to use the Homebrew tools to re-create content for your personal use! But please remember that if you take this route, do not publicly share it as it is against the Rules.
We are currently working on adding the new UA subclasses (the Phantom, the Genie, and the Order of Scribes) and will announce as soon as they are ready for everyone to use sometime next week.
We wanted to give everyone a heads up and time to prepare before the updates happen next week. If you have any questions, or need any help creating homebrew content, our forums are the best place to get help!
Query with homebrew spells we can copy the template used for UA spells but cannot do the same for UA subclasses is it possible we could have that feature enabled to be able to save the archived content we want to keep?

Is this going live along with the updated UA Variant Subclasses? I'm looking forwarded to playing the Ranger changes they made with the previous 2019 subclass UA.

They have said new UA is aimed for this monday (with a caveat that it may have to be put back if there are issues) and they are working on class feature varients. However class feature varients has no relase date yet just that it is WIP.

Of course they get archived right after all my friends design their characters in those classes... does this mean anything for the character generator? Do the options still show up?

I hope so. Favored foe is so much better than favored enemy. It'd be nice to play a ranger that isn't inherently prejudiced.

As long as you don't change the subclass you'll be fine. You can still play with the "old" versions of the subclasses, it will just say "archived" in parenthesis after the name of the subclass.

Hi, I am trying to level up my Onomancer. As it was already in use before it got discontinued I thought it would still be usable. There are no Resolute Utterance options available at level 6. The two option boxes are there but there are no choices available. Can you help??
Just a quick update. My issue has been kindly sorted out. I can now use the selections for Resolute Utterance on lvl 6 Onomancer. If you had the same issue you may want to check your character sheet to see if it has been resolved for you too. Thanks DnD Beyond staff.
This really upsets me. My first true dnd character is a Revived and it breaks my heart that I wont be able to use it again. Is there any specific reason that it was archived? It was such a interesting subclass.

All UA content will be archived sooner or later. If you want to keep using it, I highly recommend making a master copy of that class and save it. That way, if you ever want to make a new character using that class, you just need to copy the master copy.

Wizards of the Coast archives unearthed arcana content that either sees a feel release, or is no longer being developed. The Revived falls into this second category as it was replaced by the Phantom.

Thanks for the update! Knew it was coming when the UA mentioned they wouldn't be moving forward with those...

I wonder what changes will come to the Noble Genie patron. Sounds promising, I felt like there was something missing there.

The noble genie felt like a pale copy of the fiend to me. I've run into a bug with publishing my homebrew elemental patrons, will publish asap.
Minor glitch with the spell searing smite but otherwise this is what elemental patrons should look like imo

They've already made the changes rule-wise but not on this website yet.
Please check out my homebrew, I would appreciate feedback:

My onomancer just gained level 6. Resolute utterance options are not there.

Same issue as above :(
Hi, Did you report this ??
I have. I am guessing the more people that report it the more of a chance it will get resolved.
