We just finished a deploy to character sheets that adds a new preference: Show Scaled Spells. This will be enabled by default (how it has always behaved), but now you can disable it if you don't care to see your spells simulated at higher levels in the character sheet. Simply go into the character sheet editor and turn off the Show Scaled Spells on the Home Screen, or you can turn it on and off directly in the character sheet under Preferences!

I saw this and immediately raced to check a character sheet. It works, and it’s awesome.
I must say, this new option leaves the Spells section of the sheet so much less cluttered! Is very nice. Howsomever, I do have one suggestion for how to make it even better. Before, we got more info at the expense of clutter and confusion. Now, we have a way more streamlined display, but it gives us a lot less info at a glance and we have to open each spell to see which ones have benefits from upcasting. There might be a way to give us the best of both worlds.
It would sure be swell if the spells that can be upcast were in blue like the upcast versions are on the other format. That way we could have the streamlined display, and still have more info at a glance. We could instantly be able to tell which spells could give us more benefit by upcasting just by visually scanning the section, but still keep the streamlined display. We would still have to open them to see/use the upcasting, but we wouldn’t have to open them just to see which spells have that benefit. I think that adjustment would hit the Goldilocks spot of this particular functionality.
Thank you for taking the time to read my feedback, I hope this is helpful!
Hooray!!! Thanks to y'all for cleaning up our spell lists!
I would also say a future glow-up for this could be that if you click into a spell (to see the full description of the spell) and if it's scalable maybe we could see the scalable versions in there. Example: Fireball shows as 3rd level, but clicking into the spell you could see a table of it scaled.

4th Level: 9d6
5th Level: 10d6
and so on.
When you open the spell at the bottom it says:
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 3rd.
And at the top you can play with the level using the giant ➖/➕ signs and right underneath you can actually watch the damage go up and down. I think a table might be a little bit redundant.
Oh, I like this option a lot! My spell sheets were pretty cluttered, now they're cleaned up. Excellent patch!

Any time an unfathomably powerful entity sweeps in and offers godlike rewards in return for just a few teensy favors, it’s a scam. Unless it’s me. I’d never lie to you, reader dearest.

Doh! What I get for not looking a little closer.
Alright then, everything about this is awesome, thanks a billion DDB staff!!!
