"If its not some sort alchemical solution" replies Perrin, picking up the vial noting its color and bringing it closer to his nose. He then gives it a couple whirls to determine the thickness of the liquid and looks closely if he can see any visible particles inside now that he shuck it up a bit. Herbalism Kit: 23 Handing back Temerity's gift to Attalia he reports his conclusions. "It may be that we will only get answers if we manage to speak with her alone, lets meet with Pisca now that the time is at hand and then we can decide if anything is or can be done about her. Though perhaps we shouldn't reveal any further curiosity to her person, as far as the Triton is concerned we are just another group of adventurers looking to make some coin. After all its not far from the truth".
Perrin isn't entirely certain, but it seems the liquid in the vial contains some sort of anti-poisoning quality.

A few hours later the four of you are once again gathered around a table in the Shore of Dreams. As you begin your evening meal, Pisca calls out to you from the stage: “This song is for our most pleasing guests. Thank you for honoring our small island with your stay, and thank you for the great service you have rendered the Shore of Dreams.”
Many of the guests turn in your direction and begin to applaud, with warm smiles on their faces. The triton then begins to play a ballad on her shamisen; it's unlike any you’ve heard before. The notes are clear and hauntingly beautiful, causing feelings of nostalgia to well up within you. As she begins to sing, you find yourself intensely drawn to Pisca. The melody, the lyrics, the performer: all three create a three-strand rope that seems to be pulling you in...
...pulling you in...
...pulling you in...
But that piercing voice of caution within each of you stops you from succumbing entirely to the effects of Pisca's song. You deeply wish to ignore your surroundings for the next few minutes, but you choose not to do so. All four of you notice the gnome as she passes by your table and ever so carefully sprinkles a fine powder on the food that sits before you.
Once the gnome is gone and they look unobserved, Gnurl whispers to Attalia, "A drop in your glass then." Peering around cautiously, "If you'd do one for us all, please. Deftly, so no one sees."
Perrin nods in appreciation and proceeds to pick up his glass "To new found trust in unexpected friends!", throwing his head back and emptying the glass in one sudden movement. The trust he decided to put in Temerity still seams odd to him, but he's eager to see things through. He squeezes some fresh lemon juice on top the powdered oysters on the table, eyes his companions and sends two of them to meet his drink.
Attalia knows it wasn't her best example of sleight of hand, but, in the end, she takes comfort in the fact that no one seemed to notice anything.
Pisca continues her impressive performance, and the four of you--now wholly alert and suspicious---enjoy your drinks. Whatever it is that Murasa gave you, and is now in your drinks, seems to have no ill effects upon you. Temerity stops by a few times to check on the four of you, asking if there's anything you might need. The gnome---whose name you've not yet learned--does not make another appearance. After her mischievous visit to your table she returned to the kitchen and has remained there.
Eventually Pisca brings a moving conclusion to the night's music and bids her guests goodnight. With a warm smile on her face, she sits with you, thanks you for your patience, and says, "Ah, dear guests, how might I be of service to you?"
"Master Triton, it is a pleasure to meet you at last! Before anything else is said today, I must say your music is truly captivating! If every inn in Faerun had a musician of your caliber, the world would indeed be a better place! I'm sure even the monsters that roam the wilderness would stop to marvel at the sound" Perrin motions for Temerity to bring a spare glass and proceeds to fill everyone's glass with more drink. "Please, I know this is all yours anyway but feel free to take your share from the food and drink with us, I know performing in front of an audience such as this is taxing in its own way" he says and lifts his glass for a toast "To the shore of Dreams!"

If there was any time available before this encounter with Pisca, he would have looked around town for signs of a magic shop; though a powerful wizard, Anda has only the minimum number of spells in his book, those he had committed to memory and could transcribe after being driven hurriedly from his two temples, once as an apostate and once as a heretic. He will move on any information he finds about spell scrolls, even those of the lowest level.)
“Mistress Pisca,” says Anda, “you have been generous with us, so we shall be genuine with you. We came to Yokotoro in pursuit of rumors of treasure once held by a pirate named Jadescale. Rumors in most details, but always pointing to this particular inn.” He is careful not to reveal any knowledge about the map in her possession, but by tone and directness, he indicates that he is no fool in dealings such as these. “What do you know of this story?”
During the many hours before the meeting with Pisca, there is ample time for Anda to scour Yokotoro in hopes of finding something to add to his spellbook. In asking about, he is directed to the village elders. Nestled away on the outskirts of town is a small hut, outside which a small group of locals gather. The smell of burning sage fills Anda's nostrils as he approaches. Inside, a pair of elderly women sit by a bubbling cauldron.
The wizard's interaction with the women leaves him a bit unsettled, for they do indeed give him spell scroll, and they seek nothing in return. They rather vaguely suggest that a visitor to Yokotoro more often than not will need a bit of help before leaving the island. They do not elaborate on why this might be so. Anda departs the simple hut with a levitate spell scroll in hand and more than a few questions on his mind...

Pisca smiles at Andaand tilts her head ever so slightly to one side. "Jadescale is no rumor. Many claim that he is, but I attribute that to their misfortune...their failure to find what the Captain left behind. The stories you hear have led you to this place for good reason."
Whatever Pisca was preparing to say next is never revealed to the four of you. The conversation is interrupted suddenly and violently. The door to the Shore of Dreams bursts open and five guards rush in, shortswords drawn. They clear out the few guests still remaining in the room, thereby leaving only the four of you, and the staff of the inn, remaining. Looking to Temerity, one of the guards says, "The tale is true, Mistress Temerity. These four staged the entire brawl last night. Fabricated heroics for some unseemly end!"
The guards lock eyes with all of you, indicating your conversation with Pisca has ended and your "conversation" with them is to begin. As you ponder the absurdity of the accusations against you, you are not surprised to hear, "Set your weapons aside, please."
Holding off on initiative and a map until I see your responses...
Atallia stands up, kicking her staff away from her. "Why would you believe such crazy tale, a staged fight? For unknown ends? I think we should talk, but I don't think you should rush to a conclusion." [[Attalia is attempting to aid another for anyone else to attempt a persuasion roll.]]

Anda rises from his seat and faces the leader of the guards. "These are serious charges, gentlemen, and seriously foolish ones as well," he says, with an aloof, commanding tone, suggesting his absolute certainty and his impatience at having their conversation interrupted. "I would be very careful about trusting a person who called herself 'Temerity.' Her story is as audacious as her name, and as contrived as the worst melodrama. Does it not seem an exceedingly elaborate and rather chancy scheme to have been hatched by travelers who, as many in your town will testify, arrived only yesterday? Did you even bother to consult other sources besides her, or were you also swept away by the melodrama? I can only hope you had the sense not to trust the Zhentarim agents we turned over to you, the ones we caught attempting to kidnap the girl Murasa from this inn." He sets his cold blue eyes against them. "Or have you come to prove that reason and order do not rule in Yokotoro?"

Perrin's warm foot stool begins to stir. Feeling the tension in the room, her tail begins to twitch as Lizzy gets more agitated by the second. His hand reaches down to calm her but the leopard can sense Perrin's own uncertainty in his touch. "The Zhentarim seem to have a firm hold over the region...." he thinks. Perrin prepares mentally for the worst and so he turns his gaze to Pisca, a possible formidable foe, looking for any hint of surprise on her face at the unfolding events. Insight: 21
