If there is time before tonight's assault on the Redbrand's hideout, Teo will suggest they visit the orchard and the temple to get some more info about what's happening around town.
If that doesn't work with rest schedules, Teo will gear up for the night raid and head out when everyone else feels ready.
(My understanding is that we're getting a long rest and beginning the assault on the manor at dusk. Ignore this if I'm wrong.)
Indio spends much of his time exploring the shops in the town. He picks up a new set of clothing, his old tunic being slashed into rags, and a small knife and whetstone from Barthen's. He also checks out Barthen's meagre selection of of quarterstaves, but was disappointed. He does find a local woodworker, though; after a friendly discussion of the craft, he agrees to sell his spare set of tools to Indio.
On second thought, he goes back to Barthen's to look for a hooded lantern and a dozen flasks of oil. If he finds them, he'll give the lantern and ten of the flasks to Ryn as a gift. He also looks for a journal. That might be tougher to find, and he's not hopeful...but if he finds one, he'll grab it and add a quill and some ink.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ryn: Smiling awkwardly, Ryn accepts Indio's thoughtful gift, saying "Thank you, I appreciate your concern. I'll put it to good use!" He carefully wraps and stows the lantern in his pack as they depart Barthen's.
First wanting to visit The Sleeping Giant, Ryn invites along any that would like to join him. He asks anyone he finds within if the Redbrands are known to hang around anywhere else in town. If his questions are met with resistance, he'll first attempt diplomacy before getting angry.

Next, he'll pay a visit to Daran, figuring an ex-adventurer might be a good source of information about the area.

In between the short and long rest, Tygron will go to the sleeping Giant with Ryn.
Melaria will take this time to rest Long up and recoup from the fight, for both herself and her Dragon. She'll then use whatever time is remaining to just take a stroll throughout the town.
((Taking a Long Rest as it seems we are going to do that first before doing anything else major.))
Indio meanders through the town, speaking to the various merchants. He finds most goods that he looks for, apart from a journal. Elmar Barthen offers to order a journal with his next delivery, but it will be 7 days until the good will be delivered. 10gp with no delivery, as it will just come with the normal delivery.
Sleeping Giant (Ryn, Tygron)
The Sleeping Giant is empty when you visit it, save for the land-lady, an aging dwarf named Grista. Inside the taproom is dark and run down, mis-matched broken furniture has been quickly and cheaply fixed where it can, the floor is dirty and unswept and the area smells sour and sweaty.
She is tight-lipped and sour faced, but does talk to you.
Grista explains that the Redbrand's took it upon themselves to frequent the Sleeping Giant, largely forcing out other customers. She tells you that there are no Redbrand's about at the moment, not since the party's display this morning. She asks you to leave, saying "As much as I dislike that lot, coin is coin, and until ALL the Rebrand's is gone it's the only coin I got."
Daran's Orchard (Ryn, Teo)
As you approach the Orchard you hear some terrible out of tune singing carried on a light wind. You follow the out-of-tune tune to it's source and find an older looking Elf tending to his Orchard. Although older, the Elf clearly has kept himself in shape.
He has long, thin, grey hair, hanging loosely, swept behind his ears and talks with a thick accent. He is very excited to have some adventurers appear and want to talk to him, he flits between trying to tell stories of his adventuring days, how he would have dealt with the Redbrands, asking what your party has been doing and answering your questions.
You manage to steer the conversation well enough to ascertain that he has heard rumours from passing prospectors of someone digging around in some old ruins, known locally as the "Old Owl Well". Which in itself isn't that unusual for the area, what was worrying was that some of the prospectors had been chased away by 'the undead'. He'd normally be dismissive of prospectors chat, as they often make up rumours to protect what they view as their claim, but he knows that the ruins are part of an ancient magical empire, know as Netheril. He is a little worried that something dangerous lies dormant there, and would be very grateful if the party would check the area out (he marks it on a map for you, it's a couple of days march, North-East).
Melaria's explore
As Melaria explores the town most of the local cross the road or step back inside as she approaches, word getting round that she is not to be messed with and so the towns people are very cautious.
You wander into the square, where the Stonehill Inn is situated, and from across the other side you see what must be Sister Gareale. She waves and beckons you over to the Shrine she is tending to.
As you have all wandered about the town, getting a feel for it, here be a map;
Melaria looks around then points to herself, unsure of what's going on, especially after everyone else moved away from her. As she approaches, her Dragon jumps off and lands on part of the shrine.
"H...hi, have we met before?"
Melaria asks confused, but trying not to sound cautious.
Teo is conflicted. Talk of undead makes him nervous -- necromancy is a force that he does not understand nor does he care to. But, when Daran mentions the lost civilization of Netheril, Teo immediately begins the process of talking himself into visiting this Old Owl Well. "Probably just old prospector tales to keep us away," he mutters to himself, not really believing what he is saying.
Teo turns to Ryn, "I think this Old Owl Well may be on the way to where our friend is being held captive. Let's clean up this town of bandits and then make our way northward, see if there's any truth to these stories. What do you think?"
Ryn: Nodding his agreement, Ryn unrolls his map and says, "Perhaps we can make a few detours along our route to Cragmaw Castle?"
Next, Ryn will head to check on the prisoners. As he enters the Townmaster's Hall, he says to Sildar, "Be on your guard tonight. Their friends might try to bust them out."
Finally, he'll approach the Townmaster and ask, "So, we've heard you are having some trouble with Orcs? Give us the details. Assuming it pays well, we'll head out to deal with it immediately."
As he leaves to rejoin the party, he tears down the reward poster and stuffs it into the pocket of his duster, making sure the town folk see him doing it.

The group rests out of sight in the woods, comfortable that anyone who thought they might be heading for the manor house saw them heading out of town. When the time comes to approach the house, Tygron calls Ryn, Teo and Indio over. “This spell should help keep ye alive fer this raid. Melaria I hopes can stay out o the thick o things, and I gots tough dwarf hide.” He casts Aid on the three of you (you each get 5 temp HP and your max HP go up by 5 for next 8 hours).

Melaria gives a nod to Tygron before giving a slight smile. "I don't plan on getting that hurt again, don't worry." She then whispers to her Dragon who then jumps off her shoulder and soars into the sky, looking to Teo, Melaria will let him know. "Hey, Teo, Apple is going to keep an eye out from up there, about 75ft ahead of us. I told him to report back to you."

Teo closes his eyes and jerks as he feels Apple make a connection. “I can work with this. It’s more feelings than actual language. Apple is truly a gifted creature. Thank you, Melaria, for allowing me to experience this.”
Teo opens his eyes and makes his way forward, keeping his senses attuned to any threats.
Indio closes his eyes and breathes deeply as the spell takes effect. Opening his eyes, he turns to Tygron. "Thank you, my friend. I'll try to stay conscious this time." He gives a wry smile.

Teo chimes in. “Yes, thank you, friend. I’ve never felt so resilient! I’ll try to not let it go to my head.”
Apple soars into the clear night sky and towards the manor house. Teo scouts ahead of the party and up the winding path to the old crumbing manor house.
The night is cool and still, Teo pauses every now and then to listen and cast his eyes over the terrain, but senses no danger. The rest of the party follow, reacting to Teo's signals to stop and wait or slowly continue when safe.
Teo reaches the old foot print of the Manor house and slowly begin to explore between the rubble, crumbling walls and other remnants of what must have been a gigantic Manor house, bordering on a castle in size. Teo's keen eyes pick up a network of recent footfall in the dust tracking across the area, that centre in on a set of intact stairs leading down into the ground.
