Thea takes a deep breath before assuming a combat stance. Knees bent, one leg in front of the other, she raises her right hand holding up index and middle finger as if creating a slingshot. In a fluid motion, she centers the violet foe between her fingers, before moving them downwards to point straight at the ground.
Herrena was full of jittery energy as the group made their way into the Zavas forest. So blissfully lost in thought about how this adventure would go, she completely forgot to search for clues on the slime's whereabouts! Luckily the rest of the party was able to pick up the slack!
When the slime appeared in front of them, a smile spread across her face as she drew her two swords. Unsure what a sword would actually do against something like that, she buried the thought before confidently saying to the others in a laughing tone, "I wonder if it'll pop once I poke it with my sword!"
Years of training had honed Herrena's senses to be as sharp as possible. Launching herself forward, she took her two swords and stabbed them forward directly into the slime, hoping it would have some effect.
Action: Attack- Hit 14/ Damage 5 Piercing
Bonus Action: Off-hand Attack- Hit 16/ Damage 5 Piercing
(as a general note, I'll be using the Character Sheet for rolls and they should all be visible in the Campaign Game Log)

Thea takes a couple steps back to make sure sword-swinging people such as Herrena that are much more suited for close combat get the opportunity to do so. Then she stops, entirely unmoving, the only visible movement being her furrowing her brows. Then she whispers "Sliver."
Movement: Keeping her distance to the slime to stay in ~45 ft. range
Action:Mind Sliver - INT save of 14 or take 2 psychic damage and subtract 1d4 off the next saving throw
Iver, eyes firmly shut, steps towards the slime and slashes twice with his scimitars. Scimitar Attack: 10 Damage: 7 Offhand Scimitar Attack: 14 Damage: 5 Iver's scimitars cut through the goo - but wait; they seem to be having no effect! The slime simply reforms around the slashing marks formed by the scimitars.
Katrin noticed Iver's attacks. They did no good. She looked at her greataxe - also a bladed weapon. She looked at the slime and back to the others, her look one of inquisitive concern. She waited. Perhaps magic was the way? But, she did not possess this.
Nevara had her gaze turned elsewhere when the creature that was called a 'Slime' attacked. She cocked her head at it quizzically, pondering its existence before reaching out with her hand and twisting it into a clenched fist. As she did, a spectral, skeleton-like hand appeared and tried to grab hold of the slime.
The Purple Slime shrieks as it is assailed from all sides! And, well - practically tickled by Erbert's fire. It lurches once before collapsing to the ground and dissipating into a pile of noxious sludge. You have successfully killed the first thing in the campaign! Well done.
You are now able to retry your Survival checks - this time with a DC of 15 as you attempt to follow the slick trail of dead vegetation carved through the forest by the now-deceased slime.
Katrin quietly forged ahead, looking down and following the trail like it was nothing. She turned her head and smirked, pointing to another clover should Erbert want it. The brush scratched lightly on her exposed legs, as she walked through the forest, but she didn't mind.
"Well that was an exciting start to this adventure!" Herrena replied almost giddily as she stowed her swords. "Where to next friends?" she followed up afterwards having no idea where the trail led next but excited to see where this adventure would take her next. "Oh, and we should be writing all of our deeds down! If no one else wants to, I'm more than happy to take up the task!!"
Erbert jumps at the words from Herrena. “No, no, no, I am the chronicler, I am the person to document all of our deeds, leave that to me!” After he stows the clover, he starts to draw what is left of the purple slime, labeling it as “Ewww, our adventure begins!” And he begins to draw the path to the cave outlined by Katrin.

There was a gleam of excitement in Herrena's eyes as Erbert decaled himself the group chronicler. "So we do have a storyteller, wonderful!! You will have to share with us afterwards your rendition of our quest! And if you'd like, I'd be more than happy to play some accompaniment for you when you do!!"
Winding their ways through the Zavas forest, Katrin succeeds in tracking the faint trail of too leftover from the slime's ventures. The plants and vegetation seem to have withered away wherever the slime touched.
The trail eventually ceases as the party enters a small clearing in the woods. The small mouth to a cave lies open between several rocks strewn through a hill in the woods. Lush vines obscure most of the entrance. A trail of purplish residue covers the floor of the small passage. See the map on discord.
AREA A1 A small amount of moonlight filters through the thick canopy and illuminates a small cave area. Rubble strewn around the interior designates this area as a man-made structure carved from the rock. Moss and mold grows in many different colors, creating the air here to become stale and quite unpleasant with the scent of spores. Across from the entrance of the low-roofed cave is what appears to be a small tunnel requiring medium creatures to crawl to enter.
Prior to leaving the spot, Nevara squatted down over the now splattered body of the slime and closed her eyes. She clasped her hands together and hoped that the small soul had a good life before moving on. Quickly finishing her little wish for the dead, she popped up to her feet and followed after the party as they quickly seemed to have found the cave. Glancing about at the cave's interior, she spoke up, "Does someone want to go first?"

Ever since fighting the purple goo, Thea seems the slightest bit absent. Her gaze is shifted down to the ground ever so slightly, not focusing on anyway in particular, and the thin line that is her lips hints at the fact that she might be slightly displeased with herself. She lets Katrin take the lead, trusting her now that the two had been guiding the group together earlier, and merely strolls alongside them.
Entering the cave, Herrena couldn't help but be drawn to the colorful plant life that managed to grow here despite their less than ideal location. Before she could examine them further, she wrinkled her nose as the stale smell of the interior hit her; shaking her out of her reverie. Focus! Master would have a fit at the way I've been acting, Herrena thought to herself before turning to Nevara and saying, "I can go first."
Getting down on her hands and knees, she slowly began to make her way forward towards, and eventually through, the small tunnel; moving slowly and keeping an eye out for more slimes and the like. (If she spots anything that seems dangerous, she'll stop if possible.)

Katrin: 15
"Be careful."Katrin says softly. Her voice is always indoor room volume, no matter where she is. She kept just behind Herrena. She would occasionally glance behind her to check on the others.
