"We do need to get this cart to Phandalin. Although if these horses belonged to our employer that would complicate things. Ill follow what you decide," Ardreck says sitting down heavily on the cart.
"That can be dangerous besides we don't know how many goblins are here but then again they might lead us to where Gundren and Sildar are perhaps they got captured by them and are being held prisoners by then somewhere." Says Scorch

"That's a good point, the both of ya. So what do you think we should do then Scorch? My mace is still thirsty for goblin blood. Where are Gundren and Sildar anyways. I thought they were just running ahead. You think these hag lovers ambushed them too?" he says pointing at the dead goblins.
Still standing next to the wagon, Ricardo tentatively asks "But, how do we know those are the horses of Gundren and Sildar. Is there anything on the horses to indicate that they belong to our employers? If there isn't, then we should head to Phandalin, and let the authorities there know about the dead horses and the goblins."
Before continuing the young man pauses for a second before continuing "Do we know how far it is to Phandalin. I mean if we can get there before nightfall, our best course of action might be to continue on to Phandalin and see if we can find any help in that town even if the horses belonged to Gundren and Sildar."
Gramogar stands in the middle of the road, just beyond the horses and goblins that lay slain, looking towards the horizon. "I'd think it can't be that far off now. Maybe 1 or 2 more days? at least I hope...I worry though that Gundren and Sildar are in danger and I'm looking to finish this job and receive my payment. I think it might be a good idea to see if we can find any other clues as to where they went." He turns his gaze from the horizon and looks down into the path through the bushes. "I bet my other ear that those stinking goblins took them, let's hide the wagon and get in there." as he heads back towards the wagon to help pull it aside and hide it as best he can
Ardrecks leg clicks as he looks down at the traps. "Only put these down if you are hiding something. We should press on. These goblins are up to something." He members to the front of the group and says, "Stay behind me and I will keep you safe." He then sets off down the trail watching for more ambushes.
"alright, you first then" Gramogar says as he starts to tighten up his gear so nothing falls as he tries to get around the pit. (do we need to jump or can we walk around it?)
The goblins were not carrying anything. You look around and see a small path on the side of the road.
"Hey look, there is a goblin path down here. should we go see where it leads?" he says scratching his chin with his mace.

So do you go down the newly discovered trail?
"Let's move" he says and urges the rest of the group to follow leading the way down the path

Do you look for traps?
After helping Grammar hide the cart. Ardreck whispers a prayer for their employers safety to moradin.
Ardreck follows Scorch. Watching the woods for movement and letting the little one look for traps on the ground.
You find a simple snare and a another trap. The second trap is a hidden pit.
Ardrecks leg clicks as he looks down at the traps. "Only put these down if you are hiding something. We should press on. These goblins are up to something."
