This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Victorin looks up at the fading light of day, sticks his hand in his cloak and withdraws it holding a small bat. “Go ahead, my friend. Be alert for dangers for us”he whispers as the bat takes off into the night sky.
Bat Stealth 18 Perception 1
Turning toward the others “Let’s go find this Dead Drunk bar, and keep an eye on the locals. No surprises” He pauses a moment to try to remember the layout of the city and if he has been to this particular tavern before.
History 2
With that, Victorin heads off into city, keeping to the shadows to avoid drawing attention to himself.
The small bat flutters away, somewhat stealthy, but gets distracted by some tasty bugs and forgets to look for danger. You remember that this particular tavern is renowned for exclusiveness, fun, and the ghost servers. In fact, the entirety of Ghost Avenue is filled with real phantoms, all drawn to this spot for whatever reason.
Victorin fades into the shadows so incredibly well that he appears to be made of the stuff himself.
Kai hops off the Dunewrecker, pushing a button on the side of it. There's a whirring sound, after which metal shutters close over the main door and the windows of the vehicle. "Walker's locked down." he says, patting the side twice. "She's not going anywhere."
He nods at Carcan's suggestion. "That sounds optimal. I could use a drink, too."
With that, Kai heads toward the tavern with the rest of the group in tow.
Agar nods in agreement. "Let's go and make some contacts. Someone will know something, or know someone who may." His skill with investigation may not be the best but it was pretty decent - enough to pass for the sort of bookworm who typically joins R&D. He was much more confident in his ability to get someone over to his way of thinking. "Do any of you know anyone here?"
Victorin steps out from the shadows, encouraging the others to continue. “Those all sound like good ideas. Let’s head to the Dead Drunk bar and we can accomplish all three of our goals, a drink, a room, and a lead for the search ahead.”
“ I must warn any of you who have not had the pleasure of visiting before, the name is well-earned, the place is filled with ghosts. Let’s go, I believe it is this way” and he leads the others down the street towards where he believes Ghost Avenue is located.
