A 5E Discord Play-By-Post campaign/server I've been considering creating, in a similar vein to Harvest Moon, My Time at Portia, Stardew Valley: (If I ever have the time) A Town to Trust Synopsis:Most often, the "town in the middle of nowhere" is a last respite for heroes on their way to fight the latest evil or world-threatening ordeal. However, each of the people in these towns, villages and hamlets have lives, dreams and their own stories to tell, if you only stop to listen. Frontier life is difficult, but rewarding and many settle down here despite the challenges because they seek a measure of solitude but still a stable community. You have only recently arrived within the town, but whatever your reason for coming, it's a chance to really make a life here. Grow alongside with the community, find love, find purpose, find a home worth fighting for and most of all: worth living for. - Up to 100 unique NPC's who are residents of the town, not including the "Event" or recurring visiting NPC's. - Players begin at level 1, max level 4 (Point Buy ONLY) over the course of the campaign. XP awarded by player decisions. - Time passes only as frequently as the group prefers. Some days may be glossed over while others may last for an extended period of time. - Special Events occur at a sporadic basis in the form of visitors, problems or festivals. - One over-arching plot in the background that help direct the overall flow of the campaign in the background. - Romance is allowed; fade-to-black for beyond PG-13 elements. - Intent would be 6-12 players
