(Do you? I think Sprites are cool but 10 con check is nothing for the PC's in this arena. On average its going to get beaten by someone who uses it at a near dump stat, and that's a waste of a precious turn. I also find the 1 damage it does a little insulting...like for real?)

(It is insulting, even if the excuse is that their arrows are too tiny to even do a dart worth of damage. Guess its to make up for the infinite poison, but who knows.)
(A lot of people have been dumping Con for some reason. Or appear to have been doing that.)

(That happening to you is equal parts unfortunate and ridiculous. Con saves always make me the most nervous. Even my characters with the best con mods fail more than I would like.)
Rothander wanders into a shrine that's recently been constructed near the town square. It bears the symbol of a lit candle over a birds head, similar to the sign of Deneir, god of writing.
A monk here practices moving through the slow motions of an unarmed kata. He finishes his exercise as you approach and greets you. Rothander convinces the monk to sell him scrolls.

When Og arrives the monk has begun his exercises again. He silently ignores your interruption, but you get the impression he's annoyed by your intrusion.

Swigg sits in the Glory taking a break from busking in the hot streets. He sits at a table in the corner reading two books. "Hmm." He says to himself then asks the room, "Question fellow Arena Fighters. What is better? Fireball or Lightning Bolt?"
Swigg taps his finger on the table in a simple rhythm and causes the words hovering above his head to transform into an image of Maginio getting struck by lighting. Swigg smiles at it, "You know what? I think you are right."
Maginio combats this with his own Staff Twirl and the image changes from him getting struck by lightning to him pulling you out of a hat, while you wear an embarrassing bunny suit. “Well, of course I am, Imbecile.”
"Not to mention less folk are prepared for it!" Mazara calls out from his mid-scribing. "And have you seen the number of tieflings in the arena lately? Pbbt! I wouldn't count on fire doing you much good!"He says flicking his nonexistent hair in the air. "Buuuut if your not that worried -- AND had to go for the guarantee of hitting more than one person -- than obviously theball of fire."

Even if Bella wasn't sure Gell tries his luck looking for a book on Wyverns at the library. And maybe a book on fashioning different kinds of nets.

“Lightning bolt, obviously, imbecile.” Using his illusion, the word dumb appears on your head. “Hits more things, and it is nice!”
