It's a quiet night at the House of the Moon as Estelle is studying in the main lobby on one of the finger desks, looking over the same maps she has been studying, for Selune knows how long, in an attempt to find something that would lead her to her brother. Even as she gets discouraged, there's something about Selune's light that calms her.
As she does, Ubly walks into the House of the Moon. Though she's a warlock of the undead, her patron Lady Alathene Moonstar was a deity to the Moon Goddess during her lifetime. Despite Ubgly's appearance, the folks at the temple regard her as an agent of Lady Moonstar. Ubly's purpose for that evening was business, specifically to bring a donation to the church on behalf of her patron.
Both Estelle and Ubly, please describe your characters.
Baudric, you find yourself in the middle of the last thing you remember was you were in Falkovia, alluding the troops coming to arrest you. You even thought you heard Vladeska Darkov's voice. Then the mists took you. You were separated from the other villagers though you see a familiar figure at a pool. It's Rose Durst, one of the archers you followed though the village. You even remember she told you she could get you and the villagers out of Falkovia.
Rose greets you with a smile. "Good, you made it out safe. Let's see, we're at the Tser Pool. We should be near the Vistani Encampment.
She stops when she notices another woman appear, this one in donned in armor. You don't recognize where she's room ... (OOC Baudric, the woman you're looking at is Mia)
Mia, the last thing you remember is that you were also fleeing from capture in your respective world. The sounds of yelling and metal clashing against metal seem to fade as you take in your surroundings. You realize you're no longer in Kalakeri.
Baudric and Mia, please describe yourselves.

Bral, you're finishing a days work when your master Sthick greets you with a smile. Despite being an older halfling, he's still got a spring in his step. He hoists his cane Beestinger and motions you to approach him. As he holds a wine bottle and a letter, he says," "My boy, I need you to do a task for me. I need to go to Barovia and find Dr. Rudolph Van Richten and deliver this message for me."
Bral, please describe yourself.

Amelia, you too are finished with a day of work. Killing Asmodeus' worshippers has become almost second nature. As you sit to rest, you are greeted with a vision from her patron.
"Well my little rogue, you've done well for yourself. I've been thinking you're ready for a grand task, one that could buy you your freedom from my service."
I've learned that Asmodeus has struck a bargain with the vampire Strahd von Zarovich. Strahd will allow Asmodeus to lay claim to every soul in Barovia in exchange for his escape. I want you to go to Barovia and prevent this from happening. Kill Strahd if you need to."
"What say you?"
Amelia as you respond to Levistus' question, please describe yourself.
Amelia is a slight half-elven woman with ghostly pale skin and wavy black hair in a long, messy ponytail. She has impossibly dark eyes and leather armor to match. Currently, she's sitting in her room in an inn in Neverwinter.
She doesn’t dare let her guard down, and carefully does not react to the devil’s words, not even at my little rogue. The devil doesn’t seem to enjoy her discomfort at the address, so much as she just doesn’t care how Amelia feels about it.
”You say it could buy me my freedom,” she says in a measured tone. “Is there a chance that it won’t? And do the effects of our deal remain if it does?”
Baudric looks around confusedly at first, slowly adapting to his new surroundings. His shaven head turns back and forth as his pale blue eyes scan the area for threats, living or dead. He attempts to shift his armor, overlapping scales of metal made from everything from salvaged armor to repurposed cookware melted down and reshaped, into a more comfortable position, wishing once more he'd been able to find a set that fit better. His laden pack, containing everything he owns, weighs almost as heavily on him as the knowledge that he will never be able to return home and help the rest of his people. The well worn scabbard on his hip holding a well made rapier of ancient design rattles briefly when he starts at the sight of the strange armored woman, and when he realizes his guide doesn't seem to know who it is either, he raises the equally ancient and well made hand crossbow, not quite at the figure, but ready, and raises his left hand to his face, the small ring-mounted razor blade on his thumb near a series of small scars that line his cheek. Seeking to get the woman's attention, while trying not to draw any more attention to them, he calls out in his soft voice, "Hello there, are you one of the Vistani my friend mentioned?"
Ubly stands in the entrance and closes her eyes for a moment. What was an extremely average appearing commoner slowly melts and shifts away as their appearance changes. Their fair skin slowly tints a light purple hue as their nose grows out slightly larger, with a protruding bump at the ridge. The fine fair hair flowing down from their head falls more flat to reveal dark greasy locks, wrapped around a strange growth coming from their forehead. Wrapped from their forehead and around to the back of their head it looks like a crown. They pull a small satchel from their waistband and look around for a moment before heading further into the temple. Grasped around the bag are long bony fingers with nails that are very long.
As they proceed into the temple Ubly smiles and reveals a crooked smile with sharp teeth that are offset by their crooked jaw. Somehow despite their hideous appearance, when they smile it is warm and endearing.
As Mia stumbles out of the mists, she looks around. Her bronze eyes taking in the crossbow and her strange surroundings. "Ah, so it was true of other worlds beyond the mists," she muses as her hand drops to a long ornate rapier on her belt. Her finely decorated leather armor is covered with strange symbols and signs in a strange language. She steps casually forward with the practiced and measured gate of a warrior. As she approaches, she shifts her shield, rimmed with gold and displaying a blue dragon perched upon a purple flower, to be in line with the crossbow. "I know not of this Vistani you speak of. Nor do I know whom I have the pleasure to address," she scowls as she says this. "I, Mia Eversteid, second in line of the Eversteid line, sworn blade of the Maharani Ramya Vasavadan, and protector of the southern lands greet you." She tilts her head at Baudric in a slight bow, her eyes never leaving his crossbow.
Bral's dark eyes widen in surprise as he hears the name Doctor Rudolph Van Richten, he had heard of the name before. After all, Doctor Rudolph van Richten was the greatest monster to have ever lived and was from Darkon too. At least that was what the stories said. Though Bral had never met the man, and he suspected that the stories were just that, stories. Stories to offer comfort in the night.
Bral nods his head to demonstrate his understanding of his master's, Sthick's, instructions. Not one to question orders he reaches forward, with a dark battle-scarred hand, to accept the message. He then stands back up pocketing the message. He then picks up his longsword and hand crossbow before heading out into the dark.

Brad knows of the Mists or, as he and everyone else from Darkon like to call it, the Shroud. He wonders for a moment if his master has been lost to the Shroud, gone but not forgotten. It seems almost impossible for the Shroud to have come so close but to not have taken him too. However, his thoughts are interrupted by the sounds of screaming and weeping. He begins to look around, to find their source but is further distracted by the sight of a lively camp.
Seeing the older man in the centre of camp talking to him, as if he somehow expected him, Bral places a hand on the hilt of his long sword. He was always one to never trust strangers. Especially those who seem to know more than he did. Nevertheless, Bral takes a couple of steps closer. As he does so, he takes a deep breath, smelling the air around him, and the campers.
