Nine gives Jae a hard stare, cocking his head to examine him with each eye in turn. He answers he only way he can think to, by issuing forth a chorus of sounds, the hooting of snowy owls and the snarling of jungle cats, the chirrup of arboreal frogs and the piping calls of a tressym.
He pauses, realizing that such an answer might be hard for human minds to translate . Two voices are used then, the growl of a Half-orc he had known,
”All and none, kid.”,
followed by the sultry tones of a woman’s voice so sinister and erotic it brings chills to most,
Feyzilla jumps awake at the sounds made by the Kenku, looks around at all the newcomers, and eyes the door cautiously. “This is a bad situation, I am not to be trusted around this many..” he pauses and looks at his owl and back at the door before vanishing for a moment, reappearing at the door, and swinging it open. It opens to the sight of a dozen chickens pulling a sled, the lizardfolk shrinks in size, sits on the sled, and the chickens pull him at remarkable speeds into the forest.
(OOC: I gotta know about Nine’s past, seems super interesting.)
Thekla is only 2ft tall and covered in fur. She only reaches about 3ft because of her cook's hat that she's wearing. She currently walks about with a tablet full of fresh muffin-like bakeries. As she moves past the new patrons, she tries to get their attention: "Hey there, sorry! It's a bit full, but there should be enough free spots to sit, and our kitchen aide will probably bring something to drink while you wait."
At Jae and the lady she looks. "You're both correct and wrong. This wood is a borderland to the feywild; a place between, so to say. It connects to several forests around the Multiverse, and you will be able to return to were you came from, just head back into the direction you came from. Navigating the Immergrummel woods takes a while. We have an expert guide who can help you reach your destination, he sits at the bar currently." she gestures into Whisper's direction.
(ooc: sorry for the long delay, I'm in a different time zone and can't always keep up sadly, as I've mentioned, feel free to narrate the "kitchen aide", she's here to take orders and serve food)
"I play the lyre as well as the bagpipes and carry both with me." Suddenly, the dog that had been silently napping on the floor rises and puts his gargantuan paw on yerandell's shoulder. "Oh, do you want to go back inside? Ok, give just a sec." With that, the dwarf opens the mouth of his bag and the dog happily crawls in before letting out a joyful woof and yerandell shuts the bag again.
The dark-haired woman remains a bit uneasy with the confirmation that this place is close to the feywild, but the encouragement that she can easily return back to her own forest and world helps to otherwise settle her nerves a great deal.
"Okay, so near the feywild, not in it, and returning home is as simple as retracing our steps to get here." She lets out a quiet sigh of relief. "That's good to know."
She's about to turn and finally find a table to sit down at when she suddenly remembers something, prompting her to turn to the small michtim woman once again.
"Oh! Ma'am, since you seem to be in charge around here, would there be a place nearby where I can stable my horse?"
Jae doesn't think he's ever seen anything like (Therkla) the tavern owner (or like many of the patrons, he realizes), but he stays as polite as he can.
"Thank you Maam," he tells (Therkla) her.
"A place to sit would be nice when it's available."
Jae breathes a sigh of relief as he walks over to where it seems he should wait. Not the Blackcrescent Forest, then. That alone is good news.
"Oh, of course you can stable your horse outside. The stables are just around the corner! Water and hay are there too. Your horse should be fine."
Thekla proceeds to serve the patrons, and points at a comfy chair next to a big table that seems inviting: "Please, have a seat, dear friend. Today we offer beef Gulasch with potatoes and queen's rolls. But we have other things too, what would you like? Vegetables? Dove?"

The woman heads back outside and after a moment the clopping of hooves can be heard once again for a brief moment. About five minutes later she returns inside, brushing loose bits of hay from her clothes as she enters.
"Thank you again so much for the chance to rest, ma'am," she addresses Thekla again, "we really need it. Now, what exactly is this 'Gulasch' you mentioned? And Queen's rolls?"
She addresses the lady "Gulasch is a stew, made with peppers and tomatoes, it's really reddish orange, you see. My Gulasch contains tender beef and potatoes, I also have a separate pot that only has vegetables. The Queen's rolls are a very white bread with a flourish on top."
(ooc: similar to Kaiser rolls, you can look it up. Kaiser rolls are an Austrian invention, but are obviously also available in other places; the Michtim version has a flowery motive)
The door flies open and Scarlet enters (once again.). I'm back! Look at my new Robes, their so cool! Scarlet says as she notices all the new people in the tavern. You know every time I leave or take a nap there is more people then before. She is sort of disappointed that she missed all the people coming in. She goes around to the new people shaking their hands and saying Hello my name is Scarlet, Druid by trade. What about you?
OOC: Scarlet is a well tanned wood elf she looks about 19 human years. She has a fancy feather in her hair and has a beat up scimitar sheathed at her side. On here back she has some sort of short sword. She usually has leather armour on but currently its not. She is wearing a nice green nature inspired dress and a green robe with runes embroidered around the trim and a big one on her back. She has dark red hair and dark green eyes. Just an update on appearance and stuff.

Scarlet is a red haired wood elf. She is wearing a semi-formal red dress and her green cloak with silver lining. She has a beat up old scimitar at her side. She has dark green eyes and a feather in her hair. Her skin is well tanned.
Extremely relieved that he doesn’t have to continue trying to explain the metaphysics of the Feywild and this Tavern to anyone, Nine gives a nod and moves to collect his tea. He pours it into a shallow bowl so that he can dip his beak, and pulls out a small book and begins to read.
"Morgan Tiernay," the dark-haired woman responds when Scarlet introduces herself and shakes her hand, "task mage." She hesitates for just a moment. "And I suppose you could say soap merchant as well, as of about two weeks ago."
Turning her attention back to Thekla, "Hmm...that Gulasch sounds about perfect to me right now, and a Queen's roll as well, please. And a mug of mead if you have it."
And with her meal now ordered, he turns to look about for a seat, eventually making her way over to the Kenku's otherwise vacant table.
"Wow, those Queen Roll's look great, how much is one?" she asks Thekla, she hadn't eaten in a while, and a roll started sounding amazing right about now. Once Scarlet came in, she paused, "Sorry, one moment," she turns to face the wood Elf.
"My name is Inez Inri! I'm a bard, in training I guess? I haven't gotten good enough to get into a college, but I hope to be able to soon!" Inez said with a smile, introducing herself to Scarlet with a polite handshake.

"I play the lute, but I'm trying to pick up the harp as well. But sadly it's not on me. What do you play?" she asks curiously.
"Excuse me, sir," Jae greets the Kenku (Nine-While-Nine), "but would you mind telling me what forest we are in?"
(Doesn't know that Kenku only speak in vocal mimicry)
And that's all I have to say about that.

Jae jerks backwards, partly from what is said, partly from how it is said.
History check: 9
And that's all I have to say about that.
Jae thinks this might not be unusual for a Kenku, but he is not sure.
"You are called...Nine?" he asks, not entirely certain that that was what the Kenku meant.
"I'm Jae. What do you mean this place is all forests and none?"
And that's all I have to say about that.

Exactly. Cloud adds. Thekla explained it far better than I could have, but this is a safe place for those who need rest. And it has marvelous cake.
