Friar is going to try and see how the Duergar got into the chamber, whether they followed the burial party in, or if there is an opening somewhere inside the chamber.
Might have missed this in the early notes, but would the Immercleave's ever inter something valuable with the dead? Would there have been a jeweled weapon, or magic tool, or something like that. Just want to know if there's something the party would know to check and see if it was still there or not.
After ascertaining the burial room is free of any enemies, you begin to examine the battle scene a bit more closely. The wounds on the dead seem consistent with what you know of the weapons utilized by duergar and your fellow clan members. Additionally, Elrik's body, still fully shrouded, shows no signs of being molested.
You're clever enough to discern that the two dead duergar, even if they had the element of surprise, would have been unable to overwhelm the five members of Clan Immercleave who died here. With that in mind, you scour the place for evidence that other duergar had been part of the melee. The only hint that the two dead duergar had accomplices is a partial bloody footprint near the west end of the room. The boot print suggests whoever created it was walking away from the battle.

Yes, Immercleave Clan members are often interred with valuables, especially weapons. As mentioned above, however, Elrik's corpse seems to have been untouched by anyone.

Copper places his own boot next to the bloody boot print to try and gauge its size.
"My granddad used to tell stories about some of the troubles he had to deal with when he was a member of the watch," Copper says to the others as he examines the boot print. "There was a time when Anvil Ale tried to run Beard's Beer out of business but they didn't want to be seen doing it. So when they sabotaged the yeast, they made it look like it was someone from Ironkeg Brewing."
He stands up a looks around the room and then goes and takes one of the dead duergar's boots and takes it over and compares it to the bloody print.
"We haven't seen the duergar in years," Copper says. "And Elrik hasn't been touched. I'm not sure what I think here, but something doesn't smell right."
Investigation to see if the print looks like it could have been made by a duergar or something else: 6
Copper makes a comparison between the boot he has in hand and the print on the floor. It seems entirely possible that the bloody print was created by another duergar.

Copper sighs as he looks down at the footprint and the boot next to it. He knows he can come up with an idea or two on his own but he always has a bit of trouble with thinking them through to the end.
"If there's nothing else here," Copper says, "we should return and get help. They all deserve a proper and dignified remembering of their lives."
While the others finish up anything else they're doing, Copper will walk the edges of the room, looking for anything amiss or any signs of new rock work that might indicate a secret passage.

Updated map (w/ bloody bootprint denoted in red):
As friar is checking the original body to be buried, he yells "Someone check that western wall for a secret passage"
Friar makes a thorough examination of the shrouded corpse and is confident that no one has bothered it. As Copper navigates the perimeter of the room, he notices a blood smear on the lid of the crypt just west of the bloody footprint.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Seeing the smear on the lid of the crypt, Copper looks at it carefully.
"They may have come this way," Copper says.
He examines the wall more closely by the tomb, and if that doesn't lead to anything, he will return to the crypt, and with a nod and a sigh will open the lid.
Douth scrutinizes the bloody boot print; she's confident it was not made by any of the members of Clan Immercleave. Meanwhile, Copper strains momentarily but is able to slide the elaborately carved stone lid to the side. Expecting to see the remains of a clan member, he is surprised to see a narrow passageway that quickly descends into utter darkness.
Copper looks down into the passageway inside the sarcophagus, and whistles.
"Well that shouldn't be there, now should it?" Copper says out loud to himself. Then he looks around the room and waves the others over. "Come have a look at this. Somebody's be busy."
He looks more closely at the walls of the passageway, looking at the sharpness of the cutting to gauge the length of time this has been here.
Stone Cunning: 9
As he looks from the passageway back to the scene of carnage in the crypt, he realizes they can't just go down the passage just yet.
"We need to lay them all out properly until we come back up and get them home," Copper says, gesturing at the bodies of their clansfolk.
He moves over to the dead and starts moving them from the places they were killed and respectfully lays them out in a row in the northern part of the chamber, arms crossed about their chest, with whatever weapon they were carrying in lying under their hands.
"Now, let's go catch the bastard that did this," Copper says and moves to enter the concealed passageway.
Friar uses his cantrip of "Light", sets his shield, swings his war hammer a little and loosens his shoulders "All right now, lets see if we can find these bloody murderers."
From the open sarcophagus, you descend a set of twenty roughly-hewn stairs, at the bottom of which is a perfectly square hallway (8' wide by 8' high) that leads directly west. Hearing only your own breathing and the sound of your boots upon the stone floor, you continue along this passageway for approximately one minute. Years of experience in dwarven tunnels tells you that you are gradually descending as you go. The light provided by Friar allows you to see that this tunnel was fashioned with care; approximately every 50' feet you see carved ornamentations along the walls and ceiling--ornamentations that are very much in harmony with the style utilized by the stonecutters of Clan Immercleave. Although you have no previous knowledge of this secret passageway, you are confident that it was created by the clan members of old.
The long, gradual descent eventually comes to an an end in a large circular room that you estimate is 40' in diameter. On the northern "side" of the room is an exit passageway that comes to an end after approximately 50'. It seems as if a massive structural failure occurred, for the tunnel is blocked entirely with debris, varying in size from boulders to small stones. In the southeastern portion of the room is another exit. This leads to a rather treacherous descent into further darkness...
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Could this have been the original crypts?" Copper muses aloud. "But then why hide its entrance? This is puzzling."
He proceeds to walk the edges of this circular room, looking for any sign of blood indicating that whomever they're pursuing stopped here and went through a secret passage instead of down the only open tunnel.
Perception: 8
If he finds nothing, Copper will bob his head for a moment, and gesture down the difficult passage.
"It's an adventure if nothing else," he says to the others. "Shall we continue. Bound to come across our quarry soon."

From what he can discern, Copper surmises the secret passageway is as old as the crypts themselves.

Looking at the others to make sure they're ready, Copper slips his shield in place and heads down into the passageway.
