"Bet anything that place is not empty." Kat says softly, staying behind whatever cover can be found between them and the castle. She glances to the others. "Anyone able to scout out any sentries before we move closer?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Grzak nods at Katherine.
”I hope Gundren is in there, or at least evidence of where he might have been taken.”He whispers to the group.
”I can make a circuit around the place, if you all want. Looking for traps and guard patrols. Stay out of sight and I’ll return here within half an hour. If it’s longer than that you can assume I’m dead or captured.”
If everyone agrees, Grzak will slowly, quietly and cautiously make his way around the structure. Only making his way closer to the building if the pathway demands it. He will be focusing on stealth and perception in equal measure, especially looking for wire traps and enemy patrols.
Grzak will rely on his Danger Sense as he slowly approaches the canvas and rubble of the ruined north tower. His newly acquired shield at the ready to guard from possible darts, stones or arrows.
The party slowly approaches and enters the tower, apparently unnoticed by any guards. Once inside the tower, a heavy curtain covers a route to the south, and a remarkably intact door stands to the east.
Grzak silently points/motions at the two pathways that lead further in. He looks for a consensus as to which way to explore. He will also use the Help action to aid Gabriel and others, if needed, to keep them from stumbling into or over furniture or rubble in the tower.
Kathrine moves up to the curtain passage, and attempts to pull it open just a slit, so she can see what is on the other side, without disturbing it enough to give away their being there. (Let me know what, if any, check is needed for this.)

Gabriel agrees with both Katherine, and Grzak.
"Scouting seems like a good idea. Be careful my friend."
Grzak notes a few things of interest:
The tower directly south of the entryway sounds to be occupied by goblin lookouts, though they seem to be slacking off rather than doing their job.
On the south side of the castle is a locked side entrance. It sounds unguarded but arrow slits overlook it.
A ruined tower to the north has had a large portion of the external wall collapse. It is covered by easily-moved canvas and sounds unguarded.
He notes no traps or patrols.
(Sorry all for long response time, I've been sick)
Grzak relays all of his findings when he returns.
”Entering through the ruined north tower might be our best bet.” He suggests.

"That works for me." Kathrine agrees with a nod. "Lead on and let's see what we can find once inside."
Gabriel nods his head. "I trust your judgment, let's go save Gundren."

(Is there enough light for Gabriel to see?)
(Kinda just assumed the human eyes would be slow to adjust from light outside to darker inside. We did arrive during the day, didn’t we?)

(I meant inside the castle.)
