All - In regards to catacombs that contain Fellmarg's Tomb, a DC 10 History Check will reveal the following:
Fellmarg was a well-known and much despised Warlock in the court of King Kimbertos. Most common folk simply could not understand why the King kept such infernal company, but those who fought in the King's armies alongside Fellmarg will attest that he is a hero of the Realm. They willingly admit that the source of his dread magic and the methods in which he used it were indeed terrible, but Fellmarg selflessly sacrificed himself during the last battle with Zargon, laying down his life in an explosion of infernal magics that turned the tide of the battle. Fellmarg was entombed deep inside the Misty Forest, where most feared to tread. In the decades since, rumor has it that the catacombs are naught but a hideout for goblin warbands and undead horrors. This is the first you've heard mention of gargoyles in the same breath as the tomb.
Osmorn mulls over the idea that what they have been tasked with taking down a gargoyle before stating, "Sounds daunting...But definitely not impossible for all of us together I assume."
History Check: 16
He concludes, "But I agree Fenly, I wouldn't shrug off the idea of goblins and undead since warbands tend to frequent the area."
He hoists himself from his chair and Osmorn mentions, "I just have my supplies up in my room. Some spelunking gear and monster hunting tools. I'll be right back."
When he comes back to meet up with the party and before finally leaving he says goodbye to Sara and her family and thanks them for their generosity.
Tarwun nods when Osmorn mentions getting his supplies, and popping the last of his breakfast in his mouth, stands up, stretches, and heads to his room. He returns a short while later, fully decked out in his gear.

All - Once you've eaten your breakfast and gathered your gear, you set forth upon your first quest. It is a clear, windless Autumn morning that greets you as you step outside the Quill & Quillon. Townsfolk are greeting one another and making small talk as they go about their business. Up ahead you see a pair of sailors clinging to one another as they sway drunkenly in the street. They sing a few catches of some lewd sea shanty between fits of laughter, bumping into annoyed passersby without seeming to notice. One of the two is a blue-skinned tiefling with golden caps adorning a few of his teeth and the other is an elven man with long brown hair beneath a red bandana. The tiefling man notices you all approaching and calls out to you, "Well I've ne'er spied a finer crew! How's 'bout you lot join us in singin' Really Big Oysters?" The elven man hums a few off key notes and sings,
Oh my sweet hometown lass be plump, curvy, and hale;
Her really big oysters make a man hard as dragon scale!
He hums the melody and nods to you all, waiting for someone to sing the next verse.
Tarwun - The elven man bursts out laughing and says, "Aye, they be magic! There be no oysters more magical!" He then resumes humming the melody and smiling at the group. The tiefling man begins clapping to keep time and says, "C'mon then! Bless us with yer lyrical loquaciousness!"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Osmorn quietly slinks behind Tarwun and his big armored body upon hearing the sailor's request for others to join in their merriment. He wouldn't be caught dead singing so joyfully, so he tries to avoid the drunkards from noticing him. Perhaps if he was verydrunk....
Fenly shakes his head at the antics of these folk. “Give me a nice quiet forest any day. Come on we haven’t got time for this”, he says and carries on walking.
All - Quickly losing interest, the drunken men stumble away from you. Afterward, your departure from Daggerford is uninterrupted and you set out upon the Trade Way heading southeastern toward the Misty Forest.
We will use this time for character interaction and role-play before I move the narrative along further.
Osmorn marches along side everyone and despite carrying a legitimate chest he seems to carry himself quite well too. Before addressing any of his new partners however, he whispers a short prayer to himself, "He of the Unsleeping Eyes, quell the darkness and protect this day once more."
He then looks back toward the Halfing to answer his question, "Ah I get out a fair bit, if only to enjoy some peace and quiet from time to time. But yeah, I try to stay in close proximity to the nearest bar, y'know?"
Carrying little but his weapons and armor, Korba replies, "Though I have spent nights out in the bush, most of my work was done from the confines of the Keep. And when we were out, we were plenty well supplied. I will not be much use in finding fruits and berries should we need to eat. I have rations of my own."
Just a flavor note, though we all know Korba is a warlock, as this point he looks much more like a martial fighter (though he did use magic to cool his drink)
Osmorn manages to slightly chuckle at Tarwun's words and asks, "Ha a man of two talents then it would seem, berry finder and spear stabber. What aren't you able to do?"

"Doesn't sound like goblins then. Maybe undead.", Tarwun muses, idly chewing on the half a loaf he'd stuffed with bacon, eggs and potatoes.

All - A dwarven man is walking by with a dwarven woman at his side when he stops and shouts out,
When at sea, be it her smile I miss?
Nay! It be her oyster's kiss!
The man's lady friend gasps and punches him square in the nose before stomping away in a huff.

Fenly walks along at quick march, his shorter legs working overtime to keep up with his taller comrades.
”You all used to the great outdoors? Or you more city type folk?”, he asks as he keeps an eye out for trouble.
"So by blade, you mean the man's 'spear'?", Tarwun asks, gesturing with his own weapon, a heavy spear taller than him.
"Then what were the oysters? They weren't food?"
He laughs heartily at the halfling's very good joke of him maybe being a city goliath.
