Doyal nods his head at Fagen's answer thinking, I am already part of this hunt now I will be working more openly, before answering Fagen's question aloud, "What lights my fire? I suppose it would be finding answers. There are many questions in the world that need answers, I am one of the many that go out and find them. What of you sir dwarf what drives you to do what you do?"
You now sit at a meeting table, coffee and cookies are before each of you. Governor Nighthill and a half elven man with dark hair whom looks slightly bruised but almost well recovered. Governor Night hill stands up "Good Morning. I hope you're all well rested?"
Thufir simply nods at the talk of being well rested, and says, straight to business, “Have you learned anything from their cleric.” A half sneer and mocking the word being used for the woman in purple. “And what of the dragon that was sighted yesterday?”
Nighthill shurgs ""All we've learnt form the Cleric is the Cult is moving the treasure northwards and we used a spell called zone of truth to interrogate her she knew nothing else. The valuable information you folks brought back to us helped us lesson the damage they've done to the small town of Beregost. We need more information. Thats where you come in. I suggest you pick up the trail from the camp you raided. I've also hired the man named Doyal and this tiethling named Nobody, too help you. If you agree to find out more just remember that you're trying to find out where they're taking things and what they are up too. So no fighting the whole cult at once."
The half elf dressed in simple monks clothing chimes in "My name is Leosin Erlanthar I have been studying this Cult of the Dragon, and was heading to the great library of Candelkeep when Greenest was attacked. I stayed while my brothers went on and was captured or so they thought I found that people talk infront of you when they think you're going to die. Apparently this Rezmir is a half dragon and one of the cult leaders called a wyrmspeaker, from what I've learnt they're five of these wyrmspeaker's and they are the only ones that know the goal they are working on. I have to go to Elturel to gather more information from a friend Ontharr Frume and will be there when you get there To find me ask for Ontharr."
Nighthill then speaks "As for the Dragon, most claim it was an adult blue dragon but no one is sure. Doyal do you have anything to add?"
The aged dwarf responds to Doyal's previous inquiry, "For a long while, it was the craft in the smithy. Learning what you could from your master and honoring your clan. Til one day Moradin showed how I could do more in the world through divine fire and radiance. The arms and armor are but instruments of a greater toil.
Fargen nods hearing Nighthill's report. "Well, their trail hopefully has not gone cold. Some horses would quicken the pace. So are we headed to Elturel, then? We've spent enough time here, best be heading on."
Doyal stands and gives Nighthill a nod when he turns to him, "I can confirm the dragon is blue and is in its adult years. I can also confirm everything Sir Erlanthar has stated to be accurate as well. Aside from that I know the cult is heading north with their stolen treasure, I could not quite confirm their destination. Hopefully Sir Erlanthar's friend will be able to provide us a more accurate location. That is everything I have."
Nobody, unless anyone took objected to it, had been taking key notes of the conversation. Only really stopping at points to either re-ink his pen or absently wave when his name gets called at any point. "It sounds then as if we have our marching orders and destination then? That's good. I'm no ranger or the like, but it never really hurts to have more eyes on a problem, now doesn't it?" The tiefling said with a smile to his voice. "Anything else we should we be aware of before we set of?"

Leosin "I'll be off then I'll meet you there. If I need to get a message to you I'll send a friend of mine Rudy the magpie. look for her." He immediately leaves. A magpie that was perched on the windowsill near by takes off as well.
Nighthill "I'm afraid our resources are tapped. Most good horses were stolen. But, we have provided you with them."
Day 1
You find your way back to the hatchery It looks deserted finding the trail is easy enough you estimate it'll take you Five more days to get to Elturel. Highnoon, you still have a half daylights worth of travel along the hilly grasslands.
(The horses are simple riding horses saddle bags saddles blankets and bridals. I expect you to feed them keep them hydrated, and take care of them. Note they'll wonder off if not tended too. And make a good food source for wondering monsters đź‘ą)
(To Stormbringer4729: Noted! We will try our best, but probably fail. lol)
True to his word, Nobody provided what help he could in finding the trail. Regardless of whether any of it was useful or not, once its found, he had this to add from the back of his horse, "You guys really kicked those fellows into high gear to have spooked them enough to leave the trail." Nobody rubs his chin. "Either that, or there was still plenty left about... Still! Seems we got our heading. How fast we pushing after them though?" He asks of the others.

Doyal strokes his chin, looks down at the markings left by the cult's traveling, then off to the direction they lead, before remounting his horse and remarking, "Well transporting as much as they were it would be difficult not to leave a trail. At this point they are at least a day ahead of us most likely more, but they would be traveling slower with carts so if we push the horses for all they can we might be able to catch them. If they want to move as stealthily as possible then they would want to join a merchant caravan, that could slow them down more."
Doyal shakes his head and sighs, "We do not have enough information right now, I say we go at full speed for the rest of the day. The sooner we meet back up with Erlanthar they sooner we can figure out where the cult is actually bringing their stolen treasure."
While the party moves forward Doyal tries to think of what cities the cultists could be aiming for in the direction they are traveling.
Fargen, who shares little love of horses, pushes out in silent discomfort the first day. "Aye, I say we keep on them as best we can. Perhaps we can slow down their travel or disrupt their plans if we catch the end of their caravan."
As they ride, though his horse is a bit small, it is nicer than running, Thufir nods in agreement with Doyal, adding, “Let us make haste. The sooner we can catch the Cult and hit them where it hurts the better.”
"A-ah, uhm... Very well then. Full, uh... full speed then." Nobody agreed, if hesitatingly so, unable to quite escape subconscious concern of an exhausting trip ahead of the group. Determined to be true to his word however, the tiefling stifles and words or fights down any signs of further pointless concern.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Well that was anticlimactic after waiting for those rolls :P
As they settle down to camp after riding on for a while hoping to get closer, Thufir says, "Hopefully we'll catch up to them tomorrow. But we should set a watch tonight. Wake me when it's my turn." He then spends a couple minutes feeding his horse, taking him down to the river for some water, and giving him some good pats for the ride before laying down under a tree where he immediately begins to snore rather loudly.
Doyal nods his head at Fagen's answer thinking, I am already part of this hunt now I will be working more openly, before answering Fagen's question aloud, "What lights my fire? Nothing happens for the rest of the day. The horses look very tired and hungry at sunset and you feel a little saddle sore.
