As you settle down, get off the horses. The horses start moving towards the woods a familiar sound of running water is nearby DC12 animal handling(only for your animal) or you could just follow.
Nobody is far too leery to even try to stop the horse, as he very much liked his skull not being caved in for the day. So, he followed as well just behind the beast, giving anyone else that manages to keep their horses from doing the same a hapless shrug. "Mind flying off ahead Yanda for a peek? Rather not discover too late their being more go on here than simple thirst." The winged monkey on the tiefling's shoulder gives a curt salute before zipping off and through the woods with the intent to return and report if there's anything of danger by the river.

at the present moment you see a bucking horse, there is no danger around you. But you do hear a giggling sound.
Btw Thufir following the trail left by the cultist your not on the road on the map your about 59 miles west of the river. and 20 miles north of Greenest. next to a forest grove not on the map. Your horse ignores your commands and heads towards the gurgling sound.
Waiting for Nobody to tell me what I asked about Yanda and I'll get back with Sir Drake (Doyal)
Fargen The giggling sound leads the same-way as the horses are heading but it stops as soon as it starts. Yanda soon returns back and flashes an image into Nobody's mind of a natural spring feeding a pond and the beginnings of a stream flowing westward down a slight grade into the forest.
Doyal You come upon the pond described. The trees surrounding the pond are evergreen firs. A small field of grass surrounds the east side. Your horse trots to the edge of the pond and drinks soon the other equine do the same.
those that follow catch up to Doyal just in time to see a nude woman break the surface of the water in the middle of the pond.
After catching up and eventually glimpsing the woman, Nobody is quick to look to the by then shoulder mounted flying monkey. "Y-y-you could've said there was someone h-here too!" The tiefling stressed quietly through gritted teeth. Yanda just haplessly shrugged before going back to fixing his feather. With a final shake of his head, he carefully adjust his gaze to look at the others while avoiding the woman and say in a half joking tone, "Seems this place is a bit occupied, innit?"

Thufir, following the group, sees the woman in the water and first looks around to see if there are any piles of clothing, or a towel, or similar laying about ((perception 5)). If there is, he’ll walk over to it and pick it up, holding it out towards her, not avoiding his eyes at all as the others may be doing, and if not, simply crosses his arms after Fargen’s warning and says, “It’s dangerous to swim alone out here. There are dragons, or worse, on the loose. We haven’t much more than travel rations, but if you’d like to warm yourself by our fire we’ll ensure you are safe this night at least.” ((Persuasion 14))
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Seeing the woman Doyal stares for a moment taking in the woman's form until he hears Nobody's voice then casts his gaze to the ground but as Thufir speaks Doyal will turn his gaze back to the woman trying to gage her reaction to see what sort of intention she could have.
As you make your presence known she looks at you and then slips beneath the surface in the clear spring water of the pond. Completely becoming invisible to you
Doyal she seems defensive and didn't understand Thufir.
"Fey?" Nobody whispered quietly to himself but hadn't the nerve to look the woman's way again. Not unless a sound accompanied her slipping beneath the surface, or the others commented on as much. At which point he glances up warily at first, before looking around in confusion. "Th-there might be something to your suggestion before. Though, seeing as they hadn't replied, mmmight it be best we gather our horses and press on for just a while longer, least we disturb them any further?"

"As long as they do not bother us, or are with the Cult, live and let live."Thufir says, adding, "Though we should certainly keep close watch tonight."
"Do not know what she was, could be fey," Doyal remarks with a shrug. "What I can say is she was being defensive, so we surprised her just as much as she surprised us, also I do not think she understood what you said Thufir. Could mean she does not understand the Common tongue, which could show evidence that she was a fey but cannot truly say for certain."
Doyal will then turn and call out towards the lake in Elven this time, "We wish you no harm and hope you extend us the same courtesy."
Other than a ripple of waves in response to Doyal. You don't see the female again after treating her with respect. The horses drink their fill, the water looks inviting to you for drinking. Where do you make camp?
(You don't see any articles of clothing on the shoreline btw)
"It still feels a tad, uh... how do you say? Risky?" Nobody says. "If this truly is a fey we are dealing with, the cre--lovely folk are rather infamous for their love of toying with others." He went on to say before side-eyeing the lake. "But, I'd also like to keep neck from being broken should we disturb our equine friends there. So, uhm..." He sighs in defeat. "Might we camp close to the tree line at least and wait for the horses to have their fill. Afterwards, we can just draw them back closer to camp and keep watch as Thufir here suggested."

"From what I could tell she was not hostile, whatever she was," Doyal responds his eyes scanning the lake for any other movement. "I do not think we will have to worry about here, but there could always be other things out there that are not as friendly." Doyal turns away from the lake and walks to Nobody placing a hand on his shoulder, "Your idea is sound. It is always good to have a source of clean water when setting up a camp so let us move back to the tree line. Everyone else agree, we will camp here tonight continue our chase fresh in the morning?"
