For all of his brief curiosity in scanning the room and the eventual studying of the man, it is the owl that holds the tielfling's attention the longest by the end of the man's spiel. As if sensing Nobody's concern, Yanda narrows his eyes at the birb and pantomimes the 'I got my eyes on you' gesture to the owl.
"Yanda. No need for that." Nobody whispered, returning back to the present. "-ahem-... N-no need for Sir in regards to my person. Much as my name implied, I'm not befitting of such pleasantries... Though it was appreciated." He grins, then looks to the couches. "Truthfully, and the others can attest to if they a-are of mind, I had come intending to head straight to bed." He admits a bit sheepishly. "Not that I'm not intrigued by the possibility of hearing more tales, mind you. It's just-" He frowned and quieted for a moment, appearing deep in thought, before soon simply shaking his head in dismissal. "I fear I'm just being silly and confusing at this point. Heh... if the rest of your companions are of a mind for telling tales when they come, I suppose sleep can be delayed for a bit longer. But honestly speaking, I doubt any repayment of experiences I might share would hardly be of equal value."
After having said that, Nobody drifts off to a couch hopefully long enough to lay on with his pack set to the side. "Feel free to wake me.. -yawn- ... when they come up. Interesting book though that you have there." He requests as he settles in. Yanda follows suit in managing to find some comfort laying on the lumpy backpack of the tiefling.

Well, for the new guys that stay awake Wolfstine brings you up to par with the adventure thus far. Only a slight smell wafts to you from a nearby smoke house where the meat was salted and hung with care, where the owners hope to soon sell their fare. You find the feather beds have a magical effect, and fall instantly asleep. Nothing happens your soul to keep. You wake up refreshed 10 temporary hit points that will last till gone. As adventurers you know that won't last long.
At the foot of each bed you find a box wrapped up in a bluish green paper a green bow tied at its top. The longest being Thufir's using the wall as prop. Each with the characters name so no mistake on who's whos
Two strips of leather hang by the fire place with the names Yanda and Isabeau on them.
Nobody, though also not accoustomed to gifts, waits until he sees others open there's before even mentally braoching the idea. Because his mind were abuzz with question ever since realizing just how deeply he slept the night before. Yanda had no such compunctions. So without his tiefling handler, the flying monkey happily abandoned its master to inspect and play with his strip of leather.
"It'll be fine, Nobody. Just fine. They haven't found you yet." He whispered to himself, took a breath, then finally mustered the courage to open his present up.

when Yanda handles his present it circles around his neck forms a collar and disappears You're not sure what effect it has till a bee that somehow got into the building attacks and never makes it to Yanda's skin as a field of mage armor stops it in its tracks
The same thing happens with Isabeau except for the bee which she eats before it has a chance.
Nobody you find a neckless made of gem dragon scales
Thufir too is very surprised to see a wrapped gift, but after Fargen opens the his box to find armor, Thufir does the same.
He finds his Halberd remade from his sword but with a violet blue hue to the blade (Yes its missing from Fargens possession) You'll have to attune to it to find out what it does
Curious of the new weapon, Thufir spends an hour examining it, checking it's heft and weight, giving it a few practice swings... before heading down for breakfast.
Doyal rather surprised at finding a gift with his name on it, carefully he examines the box looking for any signs of danger, but after seeing the others open theirs without any troubles, he will gingerly open his. After placing the gift on a flat surface Doyal uses one of his daggers to first cut the ribbon before using the point of the blade to flip open the container.
Doyal you find a Fancy Bottle full of ink with a tattoo type tip your insight tells you to press the tip to your skin you'll see what it does on your CS
Wolfstine finds a new set of scale male made from the dragons scales Jack gave him.
Yanda scratches at his neck seeming concerned for maybe half a second before giving up and flying back to his summoner's side. Said summoner is at once both confused and curious when pulling a rather drab but comfortably looking cloak from his box. He looks in the box just to make sure there were no notes left anywhere before shrugging and donning it. Once he did so, it seemed to shift in style and subtly in tone to match the tiefling's esthetics at the time. And when Yanda went to smash another bee that dared to land unnoticed on Nobody's shoulder, he hardly felt anything through the surprisingly shock absorbent cloth... if it was truly cloth.
(To LostLeonin: I like how both of our characters were like 'Hm. This is a bit sus. Let's wait to see the others open there's first before really opening our gifts. lol.)
(To Storm: Didn't know how 'ham' to go with choosing the item, so presuming its at best maybe a cloak of protection mechanically or maybe a cloak of many fashions. But ideally going for the Tough feat tie in to the item)

“Has there been any word of the dragon this morning?” Thufir asks the innkeeper over breakfast, and as they receive their summons says to the others, “I wonder what they were able to learn from that purple ***** from their lair.” Adding a bit of an angry scoff on the last word, and ready to head to see the governor after the finish eating.
Although still a touch either confused or worried about many a thing, not the least of which being Wolfstine's sudden departure, Nobody tucked his gift behind his shirt, intending to study it more later. In the meantime, he joined everyone back in the common room of the inn, listening intently to passing conversation, but otherwise enjoying his meal. The eventual summons is one met with a look of trepidation. Yet after downing the rest of his breakfast, or at least what Yanda left him when the tiefling got to distracted at points, he only has this to add, "Well, best we be off then, yes? I-I'm still not familiar with the area though. So, I will be happily following your lead." He directs to the more senior members of the party, ready to leave just as soon as everyone was.

While fairly certain of the nature of the ink and needle, Doyal pockets them for now, planning to ask one of the others who have ties to magic to help clear his remaining concerns. His betrayal of the cult should not have been found out quite yet, but he would rather not risk a poisoning just yet. When the group finally sit down for breakfast Doyal orders just a simple plate of eggs and sausage with a cup of morning tea. Just as he is taking a folk of food to his mouth Thufir's comment catches Doyal's interest, he remembered the other one who told the tale of their adventure so far that they had captured someone but if it was who Doyal though it was then the information his people could get from her would be quite helpful. If these folk captured Frulen they are stronger than I first thought, he thinks as he places the folk back on the plate before asking aloud. "This 'purple *****', as you refer to her as, what does she look like, what is her name? Your companion may have mentioned her last night, but I was lost in my own thought so I may have missed it."
Fargen is slowing eating his breakfast, ruminating over the cult's blight on the land. What will the governor ask this morning? To pursue, to toil on.
Fagen interjects to answer Doyal, "She was a cleric in the cult, likely a lieutenant of sorts. We found a letter detailing the cult's path, there's a good chance you'll be offered a spot in the hunt this morning. I find most humans are ambitious. Tell me friend, what lights your fire?"
The black-haired dwarf finishes the last of the burnt sausages with a long grin and chugs down the last of his dark ale. He picks up the dragon shield Wolfstine left behind and heads off to the meeting.
