Class(es) and subclass(es): Oath of the ancients paladin 9 / great weapon fighter 2
Alignment (Nine canon alignments, you can also be lawful petty or Toxic good if you know what those are): Neutral good
Appearance: Seraphina has mocha skin with golden eyes. Long dark hair full of braids that she wears down her back has golden streaks that match her eyes. She is an athletic looking woman that stands proud and wears armor that she shines when she can. Her glaive that she wields is always by her side that she adorns with feathers and carvings.
Backstory (you can PM me with this if you want): Seraphina has always been the protector in her life. She protected her family when they were attacked by bugbears when she was only 9. She protected her small village from an attack of orcs alongside her friends at the age of 16. And now she protects her city along with the city watch and is very proud of her place in life. It fits her and she does what she can to protect those that she loves and those around her. She needs to keep the light and in order to do that, she extinguishes evil. Yes, she acknowledges that she is a bit proud, who wouldn’t be with all that she has accomplished? And to best herself, she has learned the way of the fighter as well. The ones she works alongside thinks she is crazy with her work ethic, but apparently they just don’t understand and take their job as seriously. This is a life and death appointment, we cannot let evil win!!
Appearance: An older looking half ork with black and some gray hair. He is 6'5" and 204 pounds. He has scar on his right eye from a battle long ago. He has brown eyes
Backstory: Grul lived to fight, and fought to live. He was trained to fight even better and harder in the army as a recruit and fought even more still. That is what he knew and all he knew. That is until he found a sanctuary where he was not supposed to find and overheard people speaking oddly and wearing clothes of dead beasts. One of the druids sent out a new recruit to fight against Grul, which he did so easily. These druids showed him magics that Grul thought was beyond comprehension. The druids did not tame the beast within, but rather unleashed it. The druids shared that they needed aid against a dragon, and Grul helped out in that battle where the dragon nearly took out his eye. One of the druids fell in the battle, but together they were able to slay the dragon. Grul has never been the same, now wary of dragons and thier kin, even the 'nicer' metalic dragons make him flinch, almost expecting to be devoured. Once the druids thought him all he could know from them he set out. Grul recently bought a dog, Gruff to help settle his mind and calm him down. With his new dog in tow, he sets out to find companionship and even greater fights.
Character sheet(optional): Note: the totem and moon descriptions are in the notes as I don't have the player handbook for dnd beyond. Items: Immobile rod, necklace of adaptation, decanter of endless water, belt of dwarvenkind. https://www.dndbeyond.com/profile/DeadOnes/characters/63870401
Class(es) and subclass(es): artificer - artillerist
Alignment: lawful good
Appearance: bright, glowing hair that floats and flickers. Black, charcoal skin. Full beard. Stern demeanor as a front for a heart of gold.
Flare dresses the part of a powerful being. He has a flame of hair that moves, burning unseen fuel as it flits to and fro. His skin is black as charcoal. His eyes are just two points of light beneath heavy lids. He wears plated armor that flares at the shoulders, knees and feet. His staff is a bejeweled creation of his own design, made of blackened wood, which ignites to life at a bulbous glass tip when he channels magic through it.
Then a very notable invention, a red, gold and black blend of metal in the form of a crown. From it, he emits powerful bursts of energy to harm his enemies or to help his allies.
All of this on a squat, and slender frame. Maybe he’s compensating, but it’s hard to say if it’s his height that’s the issue.
Backstory (you can PM me with this if you want):
Flare believes he is the son of a powerful efreeti, and entitled to some portion of his inheritance. Naturally, this is not on his father’s agenda, never having intended to acknowledge his son at all. Flare has moved on to other avenues to power. The power of his hands creating treasures instead of being bribed with them. His ability to mold the world around him makes for a useful tool. He cannot help himself but enjoy using his skills to trick the rich, powerful, and wicked out of their wealth. Literally, he cannot help it. Perhaps some facet of the efreeti blood carrying over, controlling his will. Flare now looks to new horizons of power, wishing to continue his quest for power and the destruction of evil men.
Class(es) and subclass(es): grave domain cleric 11
Alignment: CG
Appearance: krell is somewhat short but stands tall as he pursues the work of sehanine, his pale eyes sparkle with mirth as he goes about his business, he wears a silvery breastplate over worn and much patched traveling clothes, he also wears a shield on his left arm he never parts with, when agitated he fiddles with his lucky charm, a small stone teardrop. his hair is died bone white and from his icy blue skin he could be mistaken for a moon elf if not for his obviously human ears.
Backstory: born into a small community of mixed elves, humans, half elves, and halflings krell spent his first fifteen years studying the ways of sehanine before heading to a larger town as a cleric, after three years of studying priesthood he left, disgusted by the priests spending more time serving nobles than their god. he set out immediately picking up small jobs here and there, calming riots, fighting undead, purifying shrines, and once even deposing a minor lord. realizing he was not enough to solve the worlds wrongs he set out to find a group of adventurers knowing they often have need of a priest to heal them, help them, and keep them from the path of darkness
This Mug immediately shared with me a transcendental tale of an Infinite Mug that anchors the Universe and keeps it from folding in on itself. I filed this report under "illogical nonsense" and asked why its sign is in Times New Roman font, when it is basic knowledge that Arial Black is a far superior font. I wondered: How did this mug even get past the assembly line with its theistic beliefs and poor font choices?

It will be allowed, but to a reasonable limit-and if it is slowing down the game, then pvp will have to stop.
Thanks to everyone who entered a character, it was tough choosing between all these great characters. The selected party is:
