Gren nods, nearly imperceptibly underneath their scarves and cloak. They move to follow Edlyn, thinking, Well, been an eventful day for my first real one here. To think I was born here. And someone just left me out in weather like this? Maybe they really were seeking to let me die.
(Who’s most familiar with the area and environment? Ivo has a +4 for nature and survival and has mountain as a favored terrain. I’m not sure if we are in cold mountainous or arctic terrain)
After a grueling hour of travel, the party feels that they have gotten a bit closer to the warming lights of Bryn Shander. However, there are many miles left to travel over the barren tundra. Please have Ivo make a second Survival check.
Another grueling hour of travel ensues, but as the blizzard intensifies towards the middle of the hour, with violent winds that prevent the adventurers from seeing much farther than the person in front of them, Ivo becomes a bit lost as he tries to navigate the group back to Bryn Shander. However, after a couple of hours of trying to find his way again, the blizzard lets up. Luckily, the group finds themselves in a familiar location, a place a bit between Bryn Shander and Kelvin's Cairn, so luckily, the group has not placed themselves too far from their goal. Unfortunately, as Ivo looks around at his fellow adventurers, he realizes that someone is missing: Edlyn.
Gren shakes some of the frost and snow off of their cloak. They're still somewhat amazed that people not only live this far north, but seem to do well. The cold seeps into their hands and they whisper a quick prayer to Moradin to let the warmth of the forge fill this ragtag group.
Meanwhile, somewhere else in the frozen tundra known as Icewind Dale, Edlyn finds relief as the blizzard begins to let up. The winds begin to calm and the snow falls less thickly around her. However, as her vision clears she is surprised to find herself completely alone. Looking around, she notices nothing but the snowy hills rolling up and down into the distance. Near her is a small forest, with pine trees that seem to be barely clinging on to life, perhaps due to the absence of much sunlight.
A look of alarm crosses Ivo's face and he shouts above the noise of the storm, "We've lost Edlyn!!!!! Do we want to risk the group and try to find her or press on back to town and hope that she found good enough shelter to be able to survive the storm?"
Gren looks up suddenly at Ivo's shout. A look of concern crosses their face as they respond, "We can't just leave her out here! Even calm, this weather could kill someone."
The storm has begun only several minutes ago, but Edlyn knows that it will let up within a few hours, just in time for nightfall.

Gelri grumbles and shuffles along at the back of the group. She talks about how being scared isn't a good way to survive in the wilds.
Everyone, who do you want to be your navigator through this blizzard?
((Apologies for the late response, I've been very busy lately. Thank you all for being so patient!))

Oriovar - Wood Elf Cleric (1) - Sword Coast Campaign
Roy Quigley - Human Artificer (1) - Karrion's Spelljammer Academy Starboard
(Lance is +4 in survival but not trained in nature and has nothing else to suggest he’s the best candidate)
(Likewise, Gren has +4 Survival, but nothing else to help. I think Ivo is our best bet.)
Please have Ivo make a Survival check as he attempts to navigate the party back to Bryn Shander.
((In response to your comment, Zalmanni, I would say you’re in arctic terrain))

I finally got my computer fixed so I can do this again
Nadarr, looking down with recollection, says "we must find her... I can't let what happened last time happen again..."
Lance looks around, calm but alert.
”I’m no expert about this land or this weather, but I’ve got a keen eye. Let’s find her.”
