It’s a summer vacation in Palma Flora and it’s Highsummer a holy day for the Dawnfather, Pelor where folks gather around on the island to celebrate his holiness, while others take the chance to take a break from civilisation and relax on the beach with their tropical drinks in their hands with a tiny umbrella on the drinks, with local delicacies to paired up with. A crowd gathered at the center of the stage where you see guests in saw a giant shark being displayed to the crowd that one of them mentions about a fishing competition and whoever caught the biggest fish wins a big golden pearl called “The Golden eye” It's the size of a beach ball, that glimmer in daylight and giant greenish black slit that seems to follow you in every movement.
Currently “You” managed to book yourself a spot at Riptide Inn which tends to get pretty crowded during the peak periods, the is a 3 story high building which is beautifully decorated with the aesthetics of a rich concordian noble. An anonymous generous noble paid the Inn to give out free food and drinks to anyone here, saying that there a celebration and they want everyone to enjoy themselves without worrying to pay the expenses.
(Please take this time to introduce your characters and what are they currently doing during their vacation or what are they currently doing.)
Upon the beach clad in a dazzling one-piece swimsuit and a large sunhat would be a lone half-elf; the swimsuit was a navy blue while the sunhat was a beige, both looking fairly designer. Kneeling in the sand, she would reach into her giant bag, which was adorned with the symbol of her family, to produce a ruler which she seemed to be using to create a sand fortress by tracing-in door and windows. This half-elf was statuesque from the looks at just her in a prone position. If it wasn't for the hat, her long, wavy starlight hair would shine so bright in the high-noon sun. Her face was fair and clear, with noble feature that she must have gotten from her elven father, as well as her piercing blue eyes glossed over a pair of spectacles. Reaching for a blue beverage, she'd peer over to the stage to get a glimpse at The Golden Eye, whistling in approval. If she knew there was competition she would attempt to win, but she did not have the right equipment for catching sharks sadly.
Sitting in the shadows of the porch, an elven woman, with her white hair in a ponytail, is quietly observing the crowd gathered to see the Golden Eye. She had checked-in at the Riptide Inn the night before, wondering who had been the anonymous benefactor that had paid the whole inn for anyone who wanted to come, she still had took a room, for the Riptide Inn was the fourth inn that she tried, the previous three were already full.
With a wine on her hand, she was dressed with a white blouse, and a comfortable pale yellow trousers, with a couple of plain sandals, an attire that she had bought at the inn, she had a dagger wrapped around her left thigh well hidden to prying eyes. Just in case.
When she heard the fishing competition to capture sharks, she scoffed. The drunk people at the party will probably get drowned before actually find any shark... but they could get lucky and a poor animal suffer the consequences of that frivolous game.
She hoped that her former master arrived soon so they could keep traveling north as they had planned. She could almost hear him.
"You are in one of the most beautiful spots in Exandria, and for free!!! just enjoy!!" A smirk appeared on her lips knowing, for sure, that if the roles were inverted, he would be enjoying himself. She took a sip of her wine.
The elven woman on the porch is not the only one watching the crowd. Standing close get a good look of the competition is a young half-elf. The dark skinned woman absentmindedly munches away at some food she took from the inn. A teal headband keeps the woman's short curly hair out of her face, though as she shades her emerald green eyes with her other hand, she seems to sorely regret not packing a hat. Thankfully for her, however, the blue and grey baggy robes denoting her allegiances are light, making the heat more bearable.
Her attention seems on the large pearl. An apt name for the item, and its unique appearance is something that she would have to write in her notes later. Notes... goodness, she will have a lot to write about today, with so many people to talk to and sights to see.

"How many of them do you think are dreaming of stealing it for themselves, ya think?" he asks with a slur as he approaches the elven woman on the porch. He's a human of average height, long hair tied behind his head with a long red scarf, and with several braids that appears to have golden nuggets woven into them here and there. He approaches with a slightly drunken swagger, an oversized mug in one hand that he waves dramatically but somehow manages not to spill. His clothes are of good quality but have obviously been worn past their newness and fully into their comfortableness - black leather boots broken in to perfection, well fitted trousers just loose enough to provide freedom of movement, a white flowing shirt with just a few buttons bothered to be buttoned and a leather vest with many pockets and knickknacks attached. Secured in his vest and waistband are a couple obvious daggers and in an incongruously new leather belt around his hips are holstered two big metal guns, if one knows what such are...
"Not stealing! No, no... sorry," the man says with a chuckle. "Winning! Yes, that is the word I was looking for..." His words are slightly slurred from drink but overall he sounds amiable and friendly. "I'd imagine most have the thoughts... but too... what? Withdrawn? Reserved? Lazy to do so?"
He pauses for a moment to allow the elven woman, or really anyone else within earshot to respond... but then speaks again before they can. "I am Crispin. Crispin Barnaby!" He reaches up to doff his hat and bow but realizes halfway through the bow that he wore no hat after all and laughs again.
"So what of it? You dreaming of winning the Eye? Or just contemptuous of all those whose dreams are only that?"

The elven woman raise an eyebrow and smirks at the man display.
"Xan'drila" she replies touching her forehead with the tip of two fingers as presentation. Crispin can see that she had little scars running across the white skin of her wrist and forearm.
"I seriously doubt that any of them has the guts to ever think of stealing that trinket. And those who has it would have the wits to see pass the charade and don't waste their time in such a thing." she says looking to the people gathered in the beach "I hope" she adds smiling picturing one particular fat halfling trying to run away with the big pearl and falling on his back
A crimson blue genasi just walks the beach his medium length white hair just tossing in wind. A smirk crawling across his lips as he notices the crowd fawning over the competition and money that was to come from it. His one hand just rests in the pocket of his brown pants as the other carries a mug of ale. For a moment he just closes his eyes following where the breeze tells him to walk, his brown vest just flowing in the wind showing off a torse sculpted by years on the sea. As he opens them, he just chuckles noticing a woman with a ruler in the sand as she constructs a sandcastle. He just stops for a moment and sits down near her taking a sip of his drink “Looks like fun. Are you making one from your imagination or constructing one from memory?” he asks genuine interest in his voice about her construction.
She looks up, fairly surprised at the sight of the genasi looking over her. She would give a bright smile to the stranger, shifting a bit away. "Just from my imagination, and yes, it is very fun. I'm currently on vacation from school, but I have to keep my mind sharpened until I head back."
A'ro just chuckles a little "I'm A'ro by the way, sorry should've introduced myself first." his tone is soft and gentle like a relaxing summer breeze as he extends his hand in a friendly gesture "That sounds like a lot of fun, though never been to school so wouldn't know."
"Vivien, Vivien Iranapha." She'd answer back, accepting his greeting hand with her left. Upon her index finger would be a signet ring with a crest similar to that upon her large bag. Upon hearing his statement, she'd be puzzled. "Never been to school? Not even to read or write? What do you do' A'ro?"
"Hey didn't expect to see a fellow of my colleague here in Palma Flora" A female human with fair skin, light blue eyes and a short bob brown hair lightly taps Lyla's shoulders to get her attention. "If I remember correctly, you're Lyla Arkwren from Zadash branch that have recently moved here! The name's Lieserl Bel and shouldn't you be relaxing? The Cobalt Soul paid us pretty well and give us a days off from all the hectic things recently happening there!"
Lieserl offers Lyla a beverage that is very colourful and sparkling bubbles coming out from the drink. "Don't worry it's non alcoholic called Queen’s water, it's contains a simple syrup, honey, guava, and tamarind. I would add a dash of vodka that would make this drinkable!" She smirk's to herself.
"Ah!" Lyla jumps, surprised by the sudden tap on her shoulder. Upon seeing it was just a fellow colleague, she lets out a sigh of relief. She takes the drink, watching the bubbles for a moment before trying it out.
"It's good to see you." Months away from the Empire has done little to change her thick accent. "I would be remiss if we didn't come back with something to talk about. Like this drink. It could liven up long study sessions. Though it could stain the books quite a bit if it was spilled." Her brow furrows as she gets lost in thought once more, before she quickly shakes her head. "Sorry. Should we find somewhere to relax?"
"Xan'drila? Nice to meet ya," Crispin said with a slight tip of his head. "Charade, huh? Am I missing something then? It sure does look like one giant pearl which has to be a might be valuable."
Crispin looks from the elven woman to up near the shore where the pearl competition is drawing a crowd, and back again. "Or am I wrong?" Crispin asks slowly. "It's ok. Wouldn't be the first time. Pointing it out won't hurt me feelings none."

"You were here looking for some relaxing vacation? Or looking for some party too?" she pointed to the excited crowd.
"Sure let discuss anything..." Lieserl paused for a moment as she notices the half-elf's expression. "Besides work! So what do you think of the golden eye? I think that golden eye is fake and it tries to lure tourist into this trap and earning a profit!" She explains about the pearl and taking out a small book about pearls and finding the answer to it. "Basically that giant pearl is a giant ball of dirt that has been refined it and hunters gather them to earn a profit!"

As you guys are happily getting aquatinted with each other, you see a group 5 of shark hunters just came back from the hunt and they carried a way bigger shark then the one that is displayed, that shark that has recently brought to shore seems to be very strange and it's not like a normal shark to begin with. The shark is 25 ft long, it has large yellowish eye with red pupil and it has a very strange colouring to it that is either seafoam green or bright teal, the group headed towards Vivien and A'ro direction trying to bring the shark on the stage, knocking Vivien's freshly made sandcastle destroying it the process as they seems to be on a rush without noticing the sandcastle.
Vivien would gasp, surprised by the group of shark hunters stampeding upon her poor sandcastle and would glare daggers as they sped along. "I hope you all lose, jerks!" She shouts out, eyeing the shark and being somewhat fascinated by it. In school, she had to take a few classes based upon the study of living things and ponders what kind of shark that could be. She then looks to A'ro. "Can you believe them? The nerve!" Her cheeks were starting to flush with frustration.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"That could be it. Perhaps there is some glasswork involved in it? However the cat's eye effect was produced, it's quite impressive." Lyla peers at Lieserl's book, tapping at her chin. Her attention quickly turns away from the small book as the shark hunters make their return up the beach. Living landlocked for almost her whole life, this is her first time encountering the infamous beasts, though the one on display and in diagrams meant she knows what they usually look like. She gives her fellow scholar a nudge, and motions to the shark. "What a strange looking creature. It looks almost like it's come out of a story book."
