Once the snake collapsed under her boot, Meili looked around. There certainly were a few more snakes slithering around but she could see only one - the blueheaded monster hissing at Ran. She turned around and darted toward the enemy.
The Yuan-ti on the trail (NW) slithers to the side and then attempts to wrap its tail around the attacking mercenary.
Constrict: 25 Bludgeoning Damage: 12 On a hit, the target is grappled (escape DC 13). Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained, and the yuan-ti can’t constrict another target.
The mercenary seems completely unprepared for this tactic, and the snake-like tail of the Yuan-ti coils around him, crushing him.

Under the unrelenting hail of arrows, the mercenary falls limp in the Yuan-ti's coils.
At the other end of the trail, the Yuan-ti engaged with Micahad seemed ready to flee. After the poison arrows took a heavy toll on Mica, instead this Yuan-ti attempts to coil him with its tail as well.
Constrict: 23 Bludgeoning Damage: 10 On a hit, the target is grappled (escape DC 13). Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained, and the yuan-ti can’t constrict another target.
[That should be enough to put Micaat 0 HP. If so, Micais unconscious, grappled and restrained in the coils of the SE Yuan-ti. He will need to start making death saves.]
ROUND 5
Meilimoves from one felled Yuan-ti to the next, closing in on the one which had just ensorcelled Ran. With a kick, she forces it to attempt to maintain its concentration.
Instantly, Ranfeels the compulsion controlling his actions disappear, and he no longer feels any need to protect Nalomanterys[well, at least no more need to do so than he would feel naturally....].

Hearing Nalomantery's cries, the sailor's head whips about and hesitates before staying put as she sees Ran is with him. "Hang in there Nal!" She encourages. Seeing Mica run out and immediately get pelted at by arrows before being constricted in one of the snake's coils causes Danica to let out a cry of anger and frustration. Suddenly another starry light bursts from her, flinging out towards the Yuan-ti that held her crewmate in its coils. Realizing that Mica was looking uncomfortably limp, she darts out of the cover the elephant's body afforded and tries to touch any part of Mica that she can reach before pouring the most healing magic she could cast into him. With that done, her star like eyes narrow as they focus on the Yuan-ti that she approached. "Let go of my crewmate." She orders, hand tightening on her scimitar.
Bonus Action: Archer - Attack: 19+5= 24 // Radiant Damage: 3+2=5 Movement: 20/25ft East to Mica and Yuan-Ti Action: 3rd Level Cure Wounds - Mica Heals: 15+7+5=27
"I shall endeavor to persevere!" Nalomanterys calls out bravely.
Sensing that his spells are ill equipped to handle this threat, he opts to support his allies. "Celero!" He chants while drawing an invisible magical glyph on Ran. longstrider.
He moves a few paces south ((ending up roughly behind the tree on the map about 2 hexes south of Nal/Ran)) and drops to prone, hoping that the arrows shot his way will end up caught in the underbrush rather than striking him again.

As soon as Mica attacks the Yuan-Ti, the air is filled with arrows, two of them punching through his armor. Bleeding and dizzy from poison, he puts up a weak defense against the snake creature's attack and his vision slowly goes dark as he is wrapped in its coils.
Mica’s eyes open wide and he takes in a gulp of air at the touch of the Captain. Invigorated, he struggles against the Yuan-Ti’s squeezing grip, trying to free himself. “Cap’n, watch the archers. Find some cover.”he gasps.
Restored by Danica'shealing magic, Micabreaks free from the coils of his serpentine foe. Meanwhile, Ranfeels increased alacrity as Nalomanterys' spell takes hold.
Seeing Mica and Danicaengaged in the open, the remaining mercenary, the animal handler, puts down her crossbow and draws a longsword and shortsword, stepping out toward the Yuan-ti that until moments ago had held Micain its grasp. She offers no battlecry, just a wordless howl of fury at these inhuman snakemen.
Longsword Attack 1: 21 Slashing Damage: 11
Longsword Attack 2: 9 (Miss)
Shortsword Attack: 17 Damage: 7
Under her relentless attack, the Yuan-ti falls, dying in the middle of the trail.
The Yuan-ti next to Meili, feeling its magical grasp on Ranbroken and soon to be surrounded, flees north/northeast 60' (dashing). [Meilican take an AOO if she wishes to spend the reaction.] It shouts something in an unfamiliar language at the Yuan-ti to the north.
The two blue-headed Yuan-ti across the trail level their bows at the animal handler.
Her armor protects her to an extent, but it's clear at least two of the poisoned arrows found their target. They each retreat another 15' deeper into the jungle.

Even with the extra spring in his step, Ran wouldn't be able to catch the fleeing yuan-ti given the distance he was already away from Ran.

He then looks over his shoulder to see if Nalo is okay. Seeing the wizard hiding behind a tree, Ran scans for opponents near by and moves to engage them (if the one directly north is still there, Ran will move the 40' north, dropping the crossbow and drawing a sword as he does).
[Meilican still take an AOO at the fleeing blue-headed Yuan-ti.]
Responding to the call [orders?] from the blue-headed serpent man, the snake-bodied Yuan-ti north of Ranmeets his charges, lowering its bow and coils its body around him, crushing him with its over-muscled tail.

Ran curses the arrows that hit him and the wiry muscular snakeman wrapped around him. Rather than try to break the grapple and restraint, Ran decides to make use of the buffeting wings of the bird distracting his attacker and stabs at the creature.
