(There roughly a dozen guards and roughly 30 townsfolk)
(To Jason, then addressing all of you)
"I will happily go if it means the safety of the Lady. I am of no help against giants, but what you say is true. If her guard survived the barrage it may do well for you to have someone who can speak on your account. Strangers at the gate after the attack may not be welcomed with open arms." He turns to each of the rest of you who volunteered "You have our deepest gratitude, I swear to you you will be well compensated for your troubles on our behalf." Re-evaluating his gear and drawing his sword he steps next to Tomoe and Beamer to lead you all back to Nightstone.
(You may all head out when you are ready, Marching order if i am correct it is Tomoe and Beamerin the front, with an offer for Jason to join her and the guardsman as well. Viclas and Wilword are in the middle of the group and Calanon is following behind with his bow ready.)
(Taliesin)
(You found her Gold, 2 Potion of Healing in the Inn Keeper's room as well a a decent sized lock box (You can roll to unlock it if you have Thieves Tools)
You see her look at you confused before you part ways. Once outside you see a strange sight, three pale blue giants hefting the monolith onto their ship as three more work from the low riding ships side to pull it on board. Other than this you see or hear no one, no yelling, no more rocks are crashing down. Just silence and the grunts of giants.
(I would roll some stealth if you don't want to be heard or noticed)
"Let's head down to the town but we need to be careful, these giants are not fun to deal with." Beamer leads the group toward the town but keeps a pace that can still be stealthy.
Calanon walked with his bow drawn bacl with an arrow resting so that he could knock and fire it quickly. He was thankful that it was night time as he could see clearly, probably better then the others of the group could. He would have liked to sneak but knew it would have been rather pointless since the rest of his group had heavier armor then he did.

Wilword runs up to Taliesin checking he is ok and filling him in on the plan to go back to the city to save the Lady. He asks what happen and why he didn't come out of the city with everyone else. He will introduce Taliesin to the other party members and ask him if he wants to come back to the town to die as well.
Calanon could only raise a brow at the arrival of the bard, keeping silent as he waited for the group to continue onwards to their goal. He kept his eyes ahead and hoped that by the time they got back to the town that the giants would be gone. Although with the luck he had so far in the town he was uncertain if he would be so fortunate.

Beamer liked the entertainer, they are calling him Taliesin, but wonders who he answers to and what his motivations are. Probably mercenary like the rest of us. He asks Taliesin "Did you happen to see what happened Lady Nander back there? She didn't make it up with the townfolk and we need to find her." He also turns and communicates as best he can to the new group as it develops, "I think we can get close to the bridge without danger unless the giants are heading this way. It didn't look like they were interested in the town people except to scare them off so they could get to the Nightstone. Do any of you know the history of the Nightstone? They must have a reason for getting it. In any case as we get close we will be able to see if they are still there or if they are gone. If they are gone it shouldn't be difficult to find Lady Nander." Beamer spoke more confidently than he felt because if Lady Nander didn't come out with the crowd then something may have happened to her.
Jason does not share the joy of seeing the Bard. He quickly binds his sword back and moves as fast as possible to Taliesin and grabs him tight by his coat/hood
"What is going on? You were not there when we tried to rescue this people! How do we know you are not giants spy?"
Loud that everyone could here
"Isn't it strange that this magic trickster appeared in the inn just before giants attack? Prove yourself bard!"
Viclas turns to Jason “Is that stick so far up your ass that’s caused you to loss brain power, these giants couldn’t give a half a damn about the people here. More importantly if they did, they would have sent like 3 or more giants to just eradicate us, or is this part of something personal” Viclas looks directly at the Paladin not taking action yet
Jason turns to Viclas "So half-human you are now expert on Giants tactics? I have nothing personal to any of you. Nothing personal until one of you slips on his fare to twisted and corrupted power. Then the case will be totally personal."
[ooc: jimmop lets wait for other players to RP this situation]
Tomoe will try to break up potential throw down. Physically stepping between Jason and Viclas.
Gentlemen, now is not the time for mindless bickering. Someone is in danger and we are to help. If you must measure your manhood, do it after all are safe.
No, it is about this one Putting a finger on Jason about were his breastbone is He needs to calm down and not jump to insane conclusions due to some earned level of paranoia. We are allies in this current situation. Please act like it until such time we are able to act otherwise.
