Within a half an hour you all arrive at the caves via the guidance of Beamer. As yu approach though a guard runs to the front and speaks hurriedly as you get close to the cave entrance. "We have a grave issue. The lady Nandar is not among us. None have seen her, nor the guard posted at her estate." He looks at each of you leading the townsfolk (All but Calanon as I assume you are still mixed in with the townsfolk yes?) "You have all proven a great asset so far. We, the guard, are offering a dangerous job. An unfair one for us to ask by all accounts. We must though, we will watch and protect the people here, would those of you willing and able please do us the favor of checking on the Lady? And reporting bck when Nightstone is safe again?" The man looks at you pleadingly, knowing the request is outlandish.
(Taliesin)
As you search the Inn you find few other things of worth. After quickly setting the woman back and acting as if she just collapsed she comes too. "I... I'm sorry. I fainted?" She looks around, pats where her key is on her person and looks back to you with a mix of emotions (Insight if you'd like). Pushing herself away from you she gets up and continues "Thank the gods you were her. Now. I must get going and so must you. This place is dangerous." She gets herself up and walks to her room quickly letting herself in.

Calanon moved closer to hear what the guard had said. He sighed when he learned that none of the guards knew where the lady Nadar was, meaning that if wanted to have any chance of meeting her he would have to offer his help in getting to her. Cursing in his mind he stepped forward and crossed his arms. "Despite the foolishness of this I will offer my help in saving your lady." He said as he stepped out from the crowd.

Beamer blanches at the notion that the one person he was hoping to lead to safety was not among them. "Sir, will you be able to guard the townfolk here while we search? I believe my services will best be used in helping find the Lady." Beamer tries to sound sincere and honestly worries about the Lady Nander as these are not times to be lost or alone.
"And what we will get from this? You failed your duty twice today. First of all you were not able to protect your people. You were lucky and some strangers did this job for you. But now you tell me you have lost your Lord Lady. Great."
Jason nodes his head. And smiles like a devil
"On the other hand... We will check how lucky you are. I will go back for your lady..but you will go with us. You will learn how to be a real guard and protector the hard way.."
"Whoa, you are all planning to just walk back into the town with the three giants and boulders falling from the sky? I have nothing against the whole 'for my God' or saving a damsel in distress but this is just plain crazy."
Wilword starts pacing back and forth looking into the crowd of townsfolk and listening out for the voice of the bard.
"Have we got a plan at least. I know nothing about this Lady other than she had a job for us. Not sure goblins are their biggest worry at the moment. Did anyone see Taliesin the entertainer from last night? Did he get to safety?"
This whole thing does not sit well with me. I can hardly stand by while someone is in danger. We must have a plan if we are to delve back into the town.

"I believe the townsfolk are safe here at least for a time. I don't know about you but Lady Nander seems to be the one who can afford to pay for assistance. I'm hoping we can get in her good graces. If the giants are still guarding the town we wont be able to get close regardless but it is my belief that they got what they were after and are moving on. If we stick together we can at least have some protection and there is a good chance we can find her if she stayed behind." Beamer's tracking and hunting skills tend to give him an abundance of confidence when it comes to finding creatures of any kind. And to his credit, his success rate is high.
"I will keep to the back with my bow. I would be rather useless in a melee battle with a giant.... Not that I am foolish enough to think my bow would do any damage. To them it would be less then an infant slap." Calanon said as he looked to the others from under his hood, having no doubt that one or more of them would soon realize he was a drow.

Reluctantly he starts to follow the group. "I would also like to be in the middle, I can help from a distance and have a bit of mobility if needed to get out of a tight spot."

Was Taliesin able to find anything else from the other rooms?
Taliesin will quickly return the woman's room back to normal, put her Key back where he got it from (Taliesin will not take her gold).
Taliesin will then wake her up and say, "Whoa there, are you okay? You just kinda fainted on me there..."
