Haji comes to check on me while Orin starts to pack the gear in their room. Haji finds me awake and in the process of donning my armor and weapons with assistance from my handmaiden. We quickly get our stuff and head down stairs to the main area to see whats going on.
Edit: Tomoe will yell back This is no time for language Sir. People are in danger and we must help.
Calanon was up as soon as he was awoken, having slept in his light armor with his weapons close at hand. He slid his rapier into the loop on his belt, grabbing his bow as he made his way outside of his room. He pulled his hood low and attempted to sneak down stairs to see what was going on.

Beamer quickly pulls himself together, puts on his studded leather armor, gathers his thinks and moves out. He is able to move with speed with out losing stealth. He is trying first to get out of the building as it feels like it might collapse, and second to figure out who is in trouble. The noise is terrible and confusing.
Wilword wakes with a start and throws his robes on in a hurry. Hearing the commotion in the hallway he decides that the quickest way out of the Inn would be through the window.
Grabbing his backpack of equipment he uses Gust (cantrip) to push open the window and leaps out without looking below. As his feet leave the window sill he will cast feather fall (L1 Slot) to land gently on the ground below.
Once on the ground, he takes in his suroundings. (Perception 14)
(Those of you in the Inn making your way down the stairs and out of the Nightstone Inn)
As you run out of your rooms and see the Inn rapidly emptying. As you make your way down the stairs you see the Dwarf holding open the door yelling "Come on, out of the building with ye. Nightstone has fallen under attack! The Inn's already been hit once. No telling what'll happen to any of ye who stays inside!". You all see a boulder sitting near the Hearth and a hole in the roofing that you all are certain was not there hours earlier.
Once outside you can see guards rushing around from home to home getting citizens and gathering the towns population all by the front drawbridge. The occasional boulder falls from the sky, looking up you see a gigantic ship hovering above the towns center, above the Nightstone.
(Wilword)
As you descend out of your window only one thing catches your eye. The sky ship above the town. A massive thing many times the size of even the largest ships you've seen, and from it boulders raining down on the town. You cannot quite discern who it is attacking though.
(Calanon)
You are nothing more than a shadow for you moved as quietly as Death itself. No one notices your movements as you make your way down the stairs of the Inn and even out into the pre-dawn night.
(Beamer)
Try as you might you cannot quite manage to keep yourself quiet as you made your way out into the town.)
(Taliesin)
As you survey the Inn you see it is completely empty, only you and various plates, mugs, and wine bottles are found to be laying around. Some broken, some still in tact.
You also notice a Human woman moving from behind the boulder, where she was obviously hiding, making her way back up the stairs.
Those of you who rolled Perception: 15 or higher:
You see the source of the boulder barrage as well as the owners of the ship. Cloud Giants!

Beamer looks up and a flicker of recognition hits him. His weapons are useless against this attack. He steps out of himself and starts yelling to anyone in earshot "Find cover. These are giants! We need to move away from the ship if we can." He looks around and quickly realizes that the city is not prepared for this kind of attack. This is a powerful enemy and Beamer wonders what they are after.
Tomoe upon hearing that they are giants has no idea how to fight them. She has had no dealings with them. She instructs her Retainers to maintain their safety and to help anyone they can. She will stick close to the halfling who sounds like he knows something about the attackers.

Calanon was not happy about things as whatever was going on was clearly not a goblin attack. While he had no problem fighting the usually cowardly creatures he knew that whatever did this had to be much worse. He noticed several other people had went to see what had happened as well, his hand going to his his short bow even if he did not yet know what he would be fighting.
If I am able I will try and roll for investigation to see if he can see anything this time. 11

Wilword ducks low on seeing the large ship in the sky. "Boy those Goblins are more advanced then anyone has let on."
Not sure how to handle a flying ship he heads to the front of the building in search of Taleisin and Tomoe. He was hoping they got out of the building and had some ideas on how to handle the fly bomber.
You can't quite make out any details that'd stand out due to all the commotion, you do however see the occupants of the ship. Giants are attacking the town. This is re-affirmed moments later as you here yelling from near where you exited the Inn "Find cover. These are giants! We need to move away from the ship if we can."
(Beamer)
While their motivations remain a mystery to you, you do remember something from your studies. A flash of realization hits you as you, these are Cloud Giants. You are also approached be a young woman fully dressed for battle. (Tomoe)
(Calanon)
No one has yet to notice you. as you survey the scene before you see the townsfolk being evacuated, guardsmen instructing the people of Nightstone across the drawbridge and away from the barrage of boulders. You also hear yelling about Giants, and upon looking up the ship does indeed have Giants on board, hurling the rocks down. Not attacking though as you'd expect, they seem to be driving the townsfolk out. Rather than targeting them.
(Viclas)
The townsfolk are all being tended to by guardsmen and other townsfolk. The only ones you see that look out of place are the few faces you may have glimpsed in the Inn earlier this night.
(Wilword)
You do see Tomoe approaching a Halfing who is yelling about giants. Taliesin is no where to be seen.
(Taliesin)
Despite your best efforts you hit a few loose boards and the wood creaks as you follow. The woman turns toward you in a flash, holding a Hand Crossbow level at your knees "Who are you?!" She hisses, dropping her crossbow from you, but keeping it in hand. "With the goblins?"

Several choice words came to the drow rogue in that instant. While he had no doubt if he was with other members of his band they possibly had a chance against one, he knew that by himself he would be flattened or worse. So like any being guided by survival instinct he made his way towards safety on the bridge with the villagers. As he got to the crowd he made sure to just blend in, his dark red eyes still trained on boulder hurling giants.

As Jason gets out of the inn he turns his head up.
"This is something new"
Jason takes a look at the knife he is holding in hand
"Well this probably won't work"
He hides his knife and take shield of his back. He grabs it tight. He will try to spot as many details of the ship as possible (Perception: 4 )
Jason will move to the drawbridge but will try to not lose the sight of the ship.
If he reaches someone that he remember from the inn or a guard he will shout "What is going on?!"
