Backstory:Orun the 3rd born son of a house of landed knights spent his childhood immersing himself in stories knights, hero’s and valor both fictional and documented accounts of his ancestors, wanting to live up to his lofty ideals of heroism and his family’s honor he threw himself into his training to prepare for the myriad of adventures that would make his legend starting with joining his brothers in capturing any and all bandits in the immediate area to great success (which some may note was an unneeded ego boost) a success that Spurred Orun into setting out in search of greater adventure.
Backstory: Nakal was a genius with crafting and magical tinkering, so his parents sold him into an apprenticeship for an overly controlling dwarf clan. There he was taught how to make weapons and armour. Eventually, he crafted a clever plan using his strange tinkerings to distract the guards and flee into the night. Now he finds himself helping the adventuring the group with often overly convoluted plans and strange machines.

Name: Lyger
Race: Human
Class (with future multiclassing): Cleric (Life Domain, no multiclassing)
Ability Scores (reroll 1s always): see above
Background: Acolyte
Backstory: Lyger's childhood was a lonely one. His father raised him on their remote farm, the nearest village was a half a day's walk away. It was too small to be named on a map. Lyger couldn't remember his mother, but her grave was near a big beech behind the farm. Once his father died he buried him there. Lyger was all alone except for the farm animal.
Years went by until that horrible night. Lyger woke up to a terrible scream. Multiple screams, from all around. Terrified animals made noise until gruesome slashing sounds ended it. Lyger hid under his bed, just in time. A few moments later the door burst open and the nightmarish screeching found its way in. The shierks pierced his brains, driving him insane. Paralyzed with fear he couldn't mover. Whatever these things were, they didn't stay for long. Lyger stayed hidden under his bed until late in the morning though. When he finally dared to come out he saw blood spattered everywhere. Everywhere he looked he saw dead animal parts, cuts and gashes. His mind broke completely and Lyger began to ran, screaming like the madman he was now.
He would stille be running now if not for a strange hermit named Roel. A strange hermit with a strange forgotten god, but he nursed Lyger back to (mental) health. Not daring to go back Lyger stayed with Roel and Roel showed him the ways of his god: the Morninglord. Lyger cared little for religion, but that changed when the Morninglord revealed himself to Lyger. Lyger was to be his sword in this world. And so a man in his forties once again had boyish dreams of becoming a hero.
