Boil makes a quick sketch of the camp in his journal and writes some notes on the more interesting looking characters around the camp. This is an excellent place to learn about a large variety of cultures
Gadhan wakes well after the wagon has stopped, the goliath rolls out of the wagon, falling on the ground, sits up pulls out his wine skin tryst to take a drink but it's empty from the day before. The large man gets to his feet shakes his head and starts to look for the food and drink.
The DM mentioned that he expects that there will be some attrition over the course of time. I know that 9 is way too big of a number for live play, but perhaps it's not too big for PbP. This is my first foray into PbP, so I can't say from experience.
He could, always split it into two wagons if everyone stays on, lol. I have run a PBP with a larger than normal party, it works good in this format, just takes a little longer in combat
After eating, Yoli wanders around the camp, studying the equipment of the prospectors camped here, hoping to see gear that looks brand new. The purpose of this would be to engage the owner in conversation, to try to ascertain if they are serious and knowledgeable, or if this is a project born out of an excess of impulsivity and money.
IC : Unable to rest, Kwami attempt to distract himself by observing the other misfits in this caravan, clearly adventurers who are too well-armed or too intelligent to be simple prospectors or guards.
OOC: CoS is notorious for TPK, so the more the merrier I say. Just have a rule that if someone doesn't post within 24 hr, we move on.
Abel walks deliberately toward the furthest edge of the camp and then makes his way more slowly along the row of wagons and shacks, tapping distractedly in the long grass with his staff as he seems to take note of the merchants, travellers and other visitors to the stalls and firesides. Then he works his way back to the thin column of his wagon mates as they make their way toward food and drink.

So if I understand correctly, our game has nine players?

DMN:
Good morning! I'm still working through character sheets, but I would ask everyone to go back and validate a few things.
1. Validate you used the pre-defined ability scores listed in my first post. You can place them where you want, +/- starting adjustments for race etc.
2. I reiterate you are a level 1 character. You have the standard starting packages, and that is it. Nothing special.
3. Ensure your weapons are equipped in your character sheet - not just owned.
