“They’re unlocked. I’m going to peak inside.” With that, Eberk pushes the doors open and looks inside.
Perception: 9
Eberk pushes the doors open with a creak and groaning of the hinges. Inside he see a 30’ hallway with a right angle bend to the north. This portion is dark, but the bend is moonlit.
Sparhawk laughs, "Bjorn, that is a nifty tool for ones backpack!"
"Alright crew, we've got a rather interesting bell over here, and maybe a doorway of sorts over there." "Frangipani, Eberk, Bjorn, can you see if the door can be opened?"
"Lir and I will take a look at this bell."
(careful to not ring the bell, Sparhawk will investigate: 21
Looking through the thick webbing you can see the intricate carving is from a very old style. You have seen similar more modern versions at temples near your home, they've meant to attract good spirits or something to that effect. While looking it over you get the feeling your being watched and looking further into the webbing you see a mass in the darkness
( it was addressed )
Sparhawk approached the bell in further investigation and realizes the dark mass is a giant spider, curiously with only 7 legs and it attacks.
"Ye really got a knack for makin' horrible creatures angry, where'd ye learn it?"
(If they're within 40ft:) He rushes over, weaving an Invisibility spell that cloaks both Sparhawk and himself. For up to an hour, each person who doesn't attack or cast a spell will remain invisible. (Invisible creatures don't provoke attacks of opportunity, by the way.)
(If not:) He conjures a barely-visible axe of magical shadow, runs to within 20ft if he can (with 40ft speed) and hurls the axe at the spider. (If he got within 20ft and the spider is in dim light or darkness, then advantage. If he could only get within 60ft but it's still in dim light or darkness, straight roll. If he's only within 60ft and the spider is well lit, disadvantage.)
[Spoilered so the die results won't affect DM's ruling lol. Below are the various possibilities for the dice because I'm not 100% sure on the situation and I don't wanna hold up everything.]
Attack against dimly lit target from within short range: Attack: 17 Damage: 14 Attack against dimly lit target from long range: Attack: 10 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll. Attack against well lit target from within short range: Same as previous Attack against well lit target from long range: Attack: 14 Damage: 11

(Dwar: Please see post 4822, investigate Bell, then likely we all head to Eberk.)
(Do you mean there's moonlight coming in through the ceiling?)
"My aunt Charlotte's leg is made of begonias."
Lir turns to Sparhawk.
"That's a lovely song. You should perform more. I will shed a tear when the drowned god takes you."
"Oh gods, he's finally cracked."
Lir gives a bright smile, beckons on his companions and walks forward.
Frangipani follows through the door lighting a torch with Druidcraft.

Frangipani holds her torch up high as they walk in, sure the others are close behind.....
(Would Sparhawk realize he’s invisible?)
(I would imagine it's pretty startling. You wouldn't be able to see your nose! You never think about it but you can see it, kind of.)
In the depths of a quasi-religious experience Lir wildshapes into a wolf spider and gambols about this creature playfully - https://www.dndbeyond.com/monsters/16900-giant-wolf-spider
unless some plant is making him see things, Sparhawk realizes he is now invisible. Seeing Bjorn disappear, he puts it together, but what of Lir?
Sparhawk will use his action to heal 10hp and dodge, waiting for an opportunity attack.
