Spider Climb. The spider can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without needing to make an ability check.
Web Sense. While in contact with a web, the spider knows the exact location of any other creature in contact with the same web.
Web Walker. The spider ignores movement restrictions caused by webbing.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 4 (1d6 + 1) piercing damage, and the target must make a DC 11 Constitution saving throw, taking 7 (2d6) poison damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. If the poison damage reduces the target to 0 hit points, the target is stable but poisoned for 1 hour, even after regaining hit points, and is paralyzed while poisoned in this way.
Description
Smaller than a giant spider, a giant wolf spider hunts prey across open ground or hides in a burrow or crevice, or in a hidden cavity beneath debris.
haha
Ah-Haha!
haha
An awesome companion/mount for your halfling rangers.
OR GOBLIN RANGER!!!!!!
such power is too much for one person to weild
Or kobold ranger.
Is good for Druids Wild Shape as well, if only level 2

so what I gather the poison stays in the system for one hour on a failed save, so there for your paralyzed for that one hour.
This is kinda not going to lie
2 web abilities but no actions to make webs?
So... uhhh... what if I just happened to create 8 of these...
I may be stupid but does anyone know why it has a +7 to stealth rather than +5?
Edit, does it have expertise instead of proficiency? I hadn't thought of that. Would it get to a +9 in stealth as a ranger beast companion at level 5?
rather interesting alternative to the wolf for a possible sidekick. While it's bite is strength based instead of Dex, meaning ability scores are ganna be spread thin, the extra poison damage on every bite will VERY quickly add up. As a warrior with all 3 of it's attacks, it'll be dealing 3D6 +3*Str plus up to 6D6 poison if all 3 saves are fails (On which I believe it's poison DC is either based on it's Str, Wis or Con, with me leaning towards Con because it's a natural product of it's body; not magical, so the DC going up with it's Con score makes sense.) Plus it gets D8 hid dice on level, which isn't amazing, but it gets the job done. Oh and the spider climb is amazing, I could see this as a warrior pairing nicely with a wizard PC who picks up the web spell.
I love it too
Goblin ranger riding this would be cool!
How do we add it to our character sheets?
It should have some sort of web emitting ability
how does the webbing work??
