"Eh, their blood is green. That's not normal for dwarves, right?"
Bjorn slices the strap on the satchel with a knife, taking it off the corpse. "Nobody will believe us unless they see it themselves. So I took some. Before ye ask, it ain't for magic -- but speakin' of, I don't suppose you've changed yer mind on the homunculus idea?"
Sparhawk laughs. "Bjorn, lets talk more about that over a cup or many of ale. For now, we are dealing with green blooded dead plant dwarves so lets focus on that, unless you want to get eaten by a plant or something."
Frowning, Bjorn tucks the vials of tainted blood into his bag. I'm not about to make the same mistake as Abernathy, he thinks to himself. These might be useful but they're not spell components.
He mutters under his breath, "The Cap'n wouldn't approve... You know you're on his bad side, right?"
To Lir: "Wait, I think I recognize him. That's Eberk's cousin, Bagfor the Taking!" He pokes the corpse with Aegwyth as a glaive, from several feet away, to check if it's really dead.

Bjorn laughs out loud. "There's no way this actually works..." Tossing the satchel to Lir, he heads with the wooden box over to the canal and commands the box to transform into the smaller of its boat options.
"Simply ridiculous!" Still laughing, he waves to Sparhawk. "With a crew and supplies, we could leave tomorrow! And this traveler were just carrying it around by himself. Guess foolishness is the fashion here, just as it is on the Coast."

Sparhawk laughs, "Bjorn, that is a nifty tool for ones backpack!"
"Alright crew, we've got a rather interesting bell over here, and maybe a doorway of sorts over there." "Frangipani, Eberk, Bjorn, can you see if the door can be opened?"
"Lir and I will take a look at this bell."
(careful to not ring the bell, Sparhawk will investigate: 21

Looking through the thick webbing you can see the intricate carving is from a very old style. You have seen similar more modern versions at temples near your home, they've meant to attract good spirits or something to that effect. While looking it over you get the feeling your being watched and looking further into the webbing you see a mass in the darkness
Lir takes a look at the webbing and tries to see any signs of what left it nearby - survival 12
He also absently tastes some of the leaves and vegetative matter in the satchel Bjron tossed to him. (Nature I assume) 6
As you taste a few of the leaves, one has a minty taste which give you a slight feeling of refreshment. Would make an outstanding tea. Another one has a bitter, but tingly sensation. Roll a con dc17
Frangipani heads to the door to try and determine if its locked, bolted, ajar etc.
Investigation- 17
Frangipani brushes away the vines and exposes the intricate carved doors. They are a little tough to open, but they are not locked. They seem to have been closed for many years

The bitter plant gives you a slight numbing sensation which shortly dissipates. After a few moments your vision seems to improve and as you peer into the webs surrounding the spirit bell it feels as if you can see every strand of web. Then it feels like the webs are moving in a random, swirling fashion. The moons lights dances across the strands creating a cascade of colors which seem to pull you into the vortex. Inside the vortex of colors you see a many eyed god. A being of ultimate wisdom and power with 7 limbs. It seems to beckoning you to approach…
Lir has sampled one of this garden’s fabled delights and is experiencing the hallucinatory power cultivated from ancient times. You will be tripping for the next 3 rounds or so

Sparhawk smiles, "Ah Frangipani, you so love the water. It seems to always refresh you......Eberk, what do you see on your end. Bjorn?"

This stairway seems to just lead into the canal waters. There is a lot of muck and nature seems to be taking this part over.
Down this stairwell Eberk can make out a set of thick doors covered in vines.
The corpse is really dead.
Inside the satchel you find various leaves and roots, 15 gp, a scroll with “ comprehend languages “ spell and a https://www.dndbeyond.com/magic-items/4639-folding-boat
As Sparhawk goes to the stairway he was looking at he notices the large carved bell covered in webs to the west.
Bjorn laughs out loud. "There's no way this actually works..." Tossing the satchel to Lir, he heads with the wooden box over to the canal and commands the box to transform into the smaller of its boat options.

“They’re unlocked. I’m going to peak inside.” With that, Eberk pushes the doors open and looks inside.
