“Thanks but I just need the one” Vezda replies as she fixes a net onto her prosthetic arm and scoops up the dropped groceries. The strangers notice that as Vezda gets up, her legs are also prosthetic. Below what should’ve been her knees are curved toothpick-like poles attached to her knees, which were actually just several rotating disks that slide in and out of place to adjust her position and height. “But what’s this about a ship? Whatcha need that for now?”

"I captain the Seraphim over at the roost, and we need the ship to do our job."
She shakes her head in frustration, "Names Lina and this here is Mender. Now if you dont mind..."
Before she can finish her sentence the doors behind you burst open. Everyone except Payax make a DC 15 DEX Save or take 3 fire damage as billows of rolling flame pour through the doorway. On a save you take half.
Through the rabble of these newcomers, the cloaked figure decides to get a better sight of the room, pulling out a bronze ball and opening its chest piece to fill with coal. A moment later as the dwarf begins getting hostile, a mechanical bird hums to life as it takes it place quietly next to the figure, who begins the chant of a spell. Nearly letting himself be a bit louder to have an entrance to this group, the finishing of his Mage Hand is interrupted by the blaring sounds of fire spilling into the room.
Flames roll into the room scorching you all. Behind the fiery tide you all hear the heavy thud of boots and see the dark figures of Dusk shock-troops as they march into the warehouse.
The soldier at the front carries a flamethrower which he is in the midst of reloading and the four troops behind him are carrying muskets held at the ready.
"Lay down your arms and prepare to be processed." one of them calls out as they continue to march forward.
OOC: You would all know that being processed is a life altering experience and not in a good way.
A singed Vezda gets up, careful not to make more contact with her hot prosthetics. She laughed the pain off, replying “Nope, not today, no thanks” and moved to grab an extra toasty apple off the ground as she moved out of the way and behind towards the wall of crates. She crunched on her apple along the way, noting it’s tastiness.
The cloaked figure ponders for a moment if they should get involved for these unique individuals. A thought of if this would even help them in the grand scheme of things turns to the thought of if these people should fail, the place will likely be searched and stripped of valuables. Can't have that. From the shadows of the corner of the room, the cloaked figure begins to pull out a Short Bow and some arrows as the invisible Mage Hand makes its way towards some loose pockets.

Rise will roll back as he feels the fire hit at his skin and clothes, patting himself off before quickly drawing his gun and readying it at one of the rifleman.

Charging into close range with a crazed laugh, he snarls, letting the Jenny fuel his pumping blood as the need for battle surges. He locks eyes with the flamethrower user as he uses Vow of Emnity gaining advantage before he brings his hammer in an overhead swing at the flamer. “F*ck you to flame spewing b*stard!!!!” 23 20

As the other two quickly begin to take out a few of their numbers, the cloaked figure begins to steady a shot into the one the Gunslinger seemed to miss at. Letting loose an arrow from a stealthed position brings him to a 23 to hit for 17 piercing damage. As the arrow flies, the cloaked figure moves out from his cover to find another spot of darkness to hide into using his Cunning Action for a Stealth Roll of 9 while maintaining his range from Medium Distance if possible.

Still munching away at the apple, Vezda watched the flaming fight unfold from behind the crates. She checked around to see if anyone was watching her (Perception 18 ), then looked back at her apple and back again at the flamethrower, then back again. What a fun idea! She pressed it into the crook of her metal arm, sizzling the apple as the wires sprung out and ensnared the produce. She wordlessly grinned as the apple caught smoke. It crumbled into a blazing ball of flame as she plucked it out. Vezda peeked out once more, then hurled the mote into the fray.
Fire Bolt (subtle cast): To hit: 9 ; 1 fire damage

Rise you take your shot and feel that all too familiar clank of disappointment as the weapon seizes. Cursing you hurriedly free the mechanism ready for another shot. As you do this you stand in plain sight of the enemy and one of the riflemen takes a shot at you. Attack: 11 Damage: 2 piercing
Just as Syver you charge forward with snarling fury and bring your hammer down on the flamers shoulder. You feel his clavicle snap like a twig as he cries out in agony. Unable to get out a full blast of flame at close quarters the flamer notches up his pilot light to a searing heat and tries to burn you with it. Make a DEX save (DC 15 or 2d6 fire damage).
Payax you let your arrow fly from the shadows and it plunges deep into the neck of one of the riflemen. The fellow drops to the ground clutching his throat to stem the flow of blood. While your victim bleeds out you take the opportunity to move to another stack of crates set against the nearby wall. (Anyone with a passive perception of 10 or more will have noted the arrow firing from the darkness and seen a rush over movement in the shadows but will not know your exact location).
Vezda you release your fruity payload into the fray but it goes wide and spatters against the door frame, covering your enemies is steaming apple pulp, but doing no damage.
The remaining rifleman takes a shot at Lina Attack: 22 Damage: 23 piercing
Winning the initiative roll the enemy attack again...
A second bullet speeds toward you Rise Attack: 3 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.
Keeping to his target the other riflemen fires at Lina once more Attack: 20 Damage: 21 just as the third finally slums to the ground dead from the arrow wound.
Syver, as you attempt to dodge the searing flame of the pilot light the injured flamer brings up a knee aiming for your balls Attack: 16 Damage: 4 bludgeoning
You are all up and remain at midrange with the exception of Syver who is close. Two riflemen and one flamer remain.

Rise, the halfling gives you a grateful smile before answering Syver.
"It's just material we need to fix our ship."
"Ok ok that's enough sharing."
The woman gestures toward Vezda, "Is anyone going to give the lass a hand?"
