Payax you soon find yourself in familiar territory. The sounds of the maddens above are a distant thing now as your eyes adjust to the darkness of the sewers. A lone rat scurries past your feet into the damp shadowed tunnel that stretches out before you.
From here you can go anywhere in the city given time. You do your best to block out the fetid stench of human faeces as you consider your next move...
Above the rest of you follow the Skyriders into the station. There are few people in here and it appears that the carts have been deactivated with all of the turmoil in the city. Following Lina you all approach a lone security guard who is standing nervously at the turn-style leading to the south bound line.
"The... the lines closed." the guard squeaks as you all approach.
Syver wipes some sweat off his brow. Before wiping it on the guard. Dropping the dwarf as he looks at him. ”listen. I am covered in blood. Because of all the people stood in my way. And if you look around. I have a war hammer. These two lovely people also both have guns. You can call for help. Scream even. But you’re no fool are ya boy. Before a single person gets here. We will end your life. You want to live? Or you want to have your face smeared along the ground as a reminder to the next people who walk in here. Your choice. Don’t be f*cking stupid.”
Beneath the loud and animated streets of the city, Payax lets down his hood as he begins to stalk through the sewers in search of one of his underlings.
Vezda peeked out from behind her dwarven carrier, taking in the situation.
"Oh hey! Is that you Rueport?" she beams at the guard. "Fancy that! You're just who we need. Ignore my friend here, he's had a day. We're on our way to her dock," she gestures to the human, "Care to let us on? I'm afraid we're in a hurry so best make it quick. We don't want to stick around for when that nasty tank gets here."
"Oh sweet Mary and Joseph we do not have time for this! Come on now move out the way or become a pancake I'm not exactly itching to found out which you wanna do but I know I'm not going for the latter!" Rise says still worried the tank is after them.
Below : Payax the local sewers are strangely quiet, most likely due to the trouble above. It seems you will need to head to the Roost the old fashioned way. Roll a D100 as you begin to traverse the tunnels.
Above : The guards eyes go wide as he takes in the sight of you Syver, as your words sink in a small wet path begins to spread out from the lads crotch and he shuffles back nervously. As Rise and Vezda deliver their good cop, bad cop routine he crumbles utterly and with a wordless shriek throws a set of keys at Lina who snatches them out of the air before turning to you Syver with a grin.
"Anyone ever told you, you are one scary mother ****er?"
She hands the keys down to Mender then and leads the rest of you toward a cable cart. You get inside and soon Mender joins you just as the cart lurches into action and begins the journey to the south of the city. (You now have some time to interact and ask questions as you travel south to the Roost).
“I do my best to keep up appearances. Takes a lot of intimidation to get yerself a title as a merc around here. Especially as a dwarf. Any of you lot know why this riot started?” He slumps against the wall of the cart. Taking a hit of some Jenny as he sits his body sparking with magic for a moment as he then slaps his face.
"There was a strike over pay at the textiles mill, it got out of hand."
Lina raises an eyebrow as you take your hit Syver.
"That stuff will make you sterile." she comments as she plucks out a pack of smokes.
She flicks one out and pops it between her lips before offering the packet around to the rest of you.
As the cart rises up out of the station you see the city start to spread out beneath you. Dotted here and there are the signs of combat; skirmishes in the streets, smoke rising from burning buildings and bodies piled up ready for disposal.
“Well, certainly seems like it got out of hand.” *He takes the cigarette, lighting it on some small flames off his hammer.* “Sterility ain’t a problem. I seen kids, they’re ugly little sh*tes.”
Rise sits on the cart and compacts his shield down so it fits neatly away on his arm, before pulling out some tools to start working on it a bit, making sure it wouldn't catch on itself as it came out. He waves his hand at the cigarette, seemingly already calming his nerves once he started to work on his shield. "Well the certainly sounds like a problem for that to start a riot, fortunately we were able to break from it will little issue. Granted a bit hurt, but alive."
Rise looks around at the group, specifically the human and halfing, and try to make out whether they'd be someone he can trust to not stab him in the back if they teamed up.
Below : Payax you feel the lightest of taps on your shoulder and look down to see a tiny spider perched there. A cluster of eyes glint up at you as you hear a voice speak directly into your mind.
Your new acquaintances interest me. Return to the surface... pursue... watch... report.
The spider springs from your shoulder and scurries up the nearby wall.
Above : Roll for insight Rise as you observe your new companions. Syver and Vezda you may reveal what ever you feel is pertinent to the result.
Rise you try to get a read on the two Skyriders but in the end you remain unsure. You were brought up around the Roost and your aunt still works a rig over there so you can only guess that they are as you know most Skyriders to be, hopeless scoundrels and drunks with more gold in their hearts than in their pockets. That said, who knows... you just saw Lina blow the brains out of two of the Cities finest without any apparent concern.
Payax nods to the spider as he follows along the sewers till he reaches the station, opening the manhole cover and quickly placing it back as he lets the hood of his cloak pop back over his head. Payax then begins to move about quietly as he begins to look around for his previous allies.

Payax you see a cable cart lifting away from the station with your allies on board. It is closed up and moving away from you, albeit at a slow pace.
