Deekin overcomes his fear with Pops calming assistance while Rockcrusher throws another javelin at the dragon.  Unfortunately, at this distance he has trouble aiming the throw and the javelin just barely falls short.  The dragon snorts in amusement as he watches the javelin fall underneath him.

I use my knowledge of dragons to see if is a way to bribe or bargain with him to dismiss his orders and leave the city. Int 6

Based on his demeanor and words, you feel that he could probably be convinced to leave.

Pops calls out to Deekin, "Perhaps you can persuade him? You may be small and scaly but your tongue is made of silver."

I ask him "Who oh great one can give you orders? You are strong and powerful and should be able to make your own choices!"

"My orders come from Frulam Mondath.  We share...a common interest, shall we say."

"Who is this fiend Frulam Mondath that he can command one such as you? If you leave this place the people here will remember you with kindness all there short lives Oh Father of Lightning"

Deekin joins the conversation and in his best draconic tongue asks the dragon, "what is the benefit that YOU gain for all of this?"

Pops will cast Prestidigitation on Dawn's voice so its base rings out and strong. That should Help with his last Persuasion roll.

he turns to Deekin. “My goal is the same as theirs. We seek to wake the great dragon queen”
